HELP?! what am i dealing with?

wat up icmag sorry to start a new thread , but after reading many infirmiry threads i beleive i have diagnosed my mystery problem...... ROOT APHIDS!!! im about day 17 of 12/12 and plants seems like there dying from the roots up. the lower nodes and leaves are curling, developing dead blotches and turning yellow, before dying.roots look super healthy as well as the tops in both dwc and coco. under 30x i cannot find anything crawling. although i've caught a couple flying bugs that under 30x look very similar to mosquito( stinger like back end) with a fuzzy head. so give it to me straight doc leme no what i got lol. bought to give them a dry ice fogg , sum sm 90 and aspirin to see if we can get um healthy again. sorry for bad pics had to use photo booth

i recently had RA...i hit them with a strong neem oil mix with imid (bayer conifer) that worked quickly and plants recovered with new growth within a few days....but if you can't see any bugs in the roots...i could in mine with the naked eye...you may be fighting a different fight...

ya man thats kinda the feeling im beginning to get but i have seen flying ones but seriously it was like 15 to 20 max in the space of 2 months and i never catch anything on my yellow cards . the reason im leaning twords somthing root related is the only place i see these flying bugs is chilling inside my dwc rez's.im gna go around the room couple more times with the scope. btw my braches seem very brittle and droopy and the infected nodes have a pale yelow to them. none of it has reached the tops yet everything seems to be concentrated in no light zones. the leaves seem rubbery with dark black spots . thanx tho man i appreciate the help

you guys mite be able to make of the drooping on the bottom but the tops still look alright for now

Inspect the roots, mang. Best to use a large low power mag. glass. You have to be quick because they quickly disappear into the medium. See if the roots look well [white], or brown. Good luck. -granger

ya when i look inside my dwc(30x loupe) i cant see any on roots there and they are preety white. the only ones visiable are a couple dead flyers in water. wen i look at the non in water part of the roots awswell as the net pot i dont see any specs moving around. i rooted around a little in coco with my fingers still nothing.

the reason this problem is really stumping me is because im running coco and dwc side by side and they are experiencing the same symptoms. if it was only the coco showing symptoms i would prolly be more leaning twords sum sort of ph or nute issue but i have never had those problems in dwc.

if i dont have RA's then watever these little flyers are they might just be throwing me off from the real problem? do u guys think my tops would be showing signs already if i was infected?

does aspirin boost immune system in general or just resistance to pests?

coco is 5.8-6.1 -750ppm
dwc is 5.7- to 6.2ph 800-900ppm with water temps never over 65
with tap water around 300ppm -7.5ph or so
ill get more pics of damage and possibly bugs later
