Seeking a grow space in LA

I have a Los Angeles dispensary backing me to find and set up a grow site, preferrably an industrial area. The problem I am running across is that the dispensary is insisting that we be up front with the leasing agents about what we are doing. As soon as I mention that we are renting a space for a medical cultivation in support of a dispensary, I get shut down. Anyone have any thoughts or input here?

I wish I could help you out. This is why so many growers end up renting a home.

Keep looking..check CL and call first, took my investor about 4 months to find a commercial greenhouse to get into (but we decided to BUY it, that solved a lot of problems)...but he would have leased it to us as well, I feel yah though, hell I was out their hunting in my area and I got a LOT of no's and a few "hell no's"!

there's a 'group' in LA that hooks up dispensaries and growers with spaces for retail and/or cultivation. i saw em on CL or ********* or weedlist, cant remember which, a couple weeks ago.

but i think residential is the way to go.

I may have spoken to these people and they wanted an 8,000.00 finders fee. I dont mind coming up with a finders fee but I think that number is alittle out of line. Gonna keep looking and start exploring residential rentals as well.

that's ridiculous, $8k haha maybe if it was 100+ lighter and the warehouse owner doesn't want a cut. i didnt even waste my time calling them, it ain't that hard to get space.

Would be interested in picking your brain on location scouting.
