So just wanted to ask if anybody grew these strains, what would be the best training method to help get most yield out of these girls?

oh and just wondering any recommendation for growing these guys I have never done any growing before and was going to start in about a week or two. I have 2 400w mh for vegging and two 1000w hps for flowering. I was going to grow these along with a lsd strain.

You are starting with great strains.

How do you plan to germ them?
What are you growing them in and the food?

Good Luck

Im going to be growing in soil. Read that was the best way to grow for the frist timer sense soil is suppost to be more forgiving. Going to be using fox farm ocean forest soil. Im going to start them off in 1 gallon pots then once they have a couple weeks to grow I will transplant to a #7 pot that holds 5 pounds of soil.

I figure im going to veg everything for two months and then flower for how ever long the need. Going to try to get on a rotation were I can harvest 4 plants every month cause I just got my card to be a care giver so want to try to get it were im harvesting enoff every month to take care of the legal max limit in my state

as for germing I was figuring to soak the seeds for a couple hours then put them in a wet paper towel till the germ then pop them in the 1 gallon pots.

for food im going to be using botanicare cns17 coco grow and bloom. And liquid karma, and hydroplex. and there pure blend tea.

Two month veg will give you some nice plants.

I would say soak them overnight,24 hrs would be best.
Skip the paper towel and just drop in the soil.
Cover them half inch.Just dampen soil.

Pure Blend I like.
Go easy on the food until you see how much they need.
See how well they grow in the soil with just a bit of food.
Always better to give less than too much.

I just thought I would give you a heads up about the FF Ocean Forest soil since I had issues with it being too hot for some of my CBG and Ace sativas. Don't sprout your beans in that stuff. It will burn them severely. It may even prove to be too rich for your established plants.

I had constant trouble with there being too much nitrogen in that soil. My Destroyer did not like it one bit and even burned badly when I transplanted it as an established 4ft tall plant into the FF soil. I should add I wasn't even using pure FF ocean forest. It was cut 50/50 with the weaker Happy Frog mix and loads of perlite and pumice for drainage. This nute burn happened without any fertilizing at all.

Two months of veg will give you some very nice, but very large plants. Be prepared for how big they will grow. I have not personally grown the Malawi but I would imagine that without topping or other height control you will be looking at plants that are pushing into the cieling by the end of flower if you veg them a full two months. I let all my sativas grow naturally this last time to get a feel for how they grow unhindered. With one month of veg the Destroyer I grew was almost 8FT tall including the pot, that was after stunting it with nute burn and intentionally small pots.

You may just want to give 1 month veg your first time.
These plants could get away on you.

Do you know how to clone too?

well I am going to be doing some form of training.. lst or hst.. but I know different strains prefer differnty styles so that's why I was asking on here if anybody knows what would be the best training method to do with these girls.

I will deffently be trying out cloning. from what I read it does not look to hard.

yah I did come across your post about how fox farm is hot. I was thinking about doing a mix like 1/3rd ff with a nother soil that has nothing in it ..maybe even coco. for the 1 gallon pot then I will move over to full ff when I go to the 5 gallon pot's

FF Ocean Forest can frazzle and fry seedlings... as it did my Golden Tiger, Panama, and Zamaldelica. I'm pleased that all recovered after a few days. Today I will need to pot my 8 Tropical Mix seedlings (4 seeds did not grow). This time I'll probably start them in FF Light Warrior and repot later into Ocean Forest.

well I picked up some coco, how much coco and how much ffof should I use for 1 gallon pot for seedlings? I was thinking 50/50? do u guys think that would be a good mix to help prevent frying seedlings?
