Ilovecoconuts- Wow I bet that took a while lol. I use straight RO water, I do ph, I also ph my teas, and I don't water my teas down. I wouldn't overload on to many additives in veg especially early on, the soil mix has plenty of available nutes for veg. I only mean 2 cups of blood meal, everything else stays the same. If you run anythig over 63 days go with 3 cups. The soil mix will last quite a while, I have vegged 10 weeks and flowered 8 and they came out nice. Busy, yes.....lol Thanks for stopping in.
First - Your shit looks amazingly look as usual. Amazing!!

Second - Thank you for the reply to ILC, I am mixing next weekend and have a few questions for you! I'm going from 2gal to 20gal's, and they will veg for ~4wks and then flower for about 68-70 days. I am guessing you'll say 3 cups of blood meal?

Thanks much PK! Keep up the badass work!:tumbleweed:

Brownthumb- Thanks it really is, I am pretty picky and this plant satisfies all my senses.

Ilovecoconuts- Yes it is wise to cooks soil mixes, but I use this one right away. The foxfarm soils have ready to go available nutrients. Sometimes certain strains going into this soil mix from the cloner will burn just a little until they adjust, talking 3-7 days then it is nothing but perfect growth.

Chunkypigs- Thank you

RomulusUSA- Thank you, nothing special going on here just a proper environment and mother nature is doing the rest. 3 Cups for a 70 day strain is a good benchmark, certain strains may require more or less but 3 seems to keep even the heaviest or pickiest of plants green until the end. If you run regular mono crops you can easyily dial in the amount of nirtrogen for each clone overtime.

It is Day 60 tomorrow for my sour bubble crop and they have flushed out better then any previous crop in this setup. I am seeing lots of solid yellow leaves and some even dieing off. Lots of purple throughout the room and the swell and trichrome prodcution is awesome. The sadder the looking the plant at harvest, the better tasting in my opinion and experience. I think this crop will be top notch. Next time I will run 2.25 cups and see how they do I could have had them stay greener just a few days longer. I will try and get some pics up tonight before the massacre starts.

The katsu Bubba Kush are blowing the F up in veg and have 2 weeks to go. I have to stall them around my 420 plans. I need to get a good training session in with them before they get out of control. The OG/Chem room is on day 26 currently and doing wonderful. Everyone seems to be satisfied with the mix. All the OG have shiny ass green leaves.

This hear is a sour bubble female from the last seedpack I ran. This one was the better female. Despite having her in the worst place for light since she was shorter then the rest she still came out nicely. In my T5 run she came out fatter so I know under the lights properly she would do fine. She smells like chocolately/bubba kushy/coffee. Nothing I haven't seen before, just thought I would share. This was one of the ladys used in my mass producing of sour bubble f2's.

Here is my keeper sour bubble, day 59 as well. I will start the chop on day 61. Letting them get nice and stoney. The lights are high for the last week to keep the flavors intact as best possible in the main colas. Sour lime candy goodness that breaks necks everywhere you go. This round was all about quality and quanity 2nd, hopefully I have pushed the flavor to the max.

Quick question.

I have a buddy that is going to try running this mix.

The Azomite... looks to be available in micronized 44lb or granular 10lb. Which one would be best to use in this mix?

We look to have easy access to Espoma Organic Traditions amendments so the bone/blood/greensand will be of that brand.
We can get Dolomite Lime in a 50lb. Speedi-Grow Agricultural Limestone - pulverized extra fine. Hard for me to read in the picture but looks to be 30% Ca - 3% Mg. Should do the trick?

I'm not very knowledgeable in soil mixes, but trying to help a buddy collect the right stuff to see if it might work for him/us.

Thanks

TonyGreen- Yes sir just had a nice sample, nice burn and flavor. BAKED lol

JavaDog- Thanks

RespectGreen- You know I like them they seem to really intensify the light. You really can't slam these down on the canopy. They cool very well. I hit my same yeild as I always do, I am at a barrier I feel like with the Sour B. They are heavy, and do take up some headroom. So far so good though anything was better then what I had. I am thinking about going with something wider though for the otherside and eventually all around. Thanks bro.

PerroVerde- thank you and your welcome, I appreciate the positive feedback.

max 6699- I was told most likely this Friday, if I get a solid heads up I will update here. Thank you.

Ilovecoconuts- I have not out fear of having water everywhere and I do like the personal approach of handwatering. I water this room 2 gallons at a time by hand, I need the exercise. Yes I do think if you have blumats dialed in this soil would thrive with them, it would be an excellent choice.

mack 10- Thanks man. My houseboat is reserved and I will purchase tickets sometime in the next week or so. Housesitter, dog sitter, and grow sitter is already arranged. I actually had to stall my flower room two weeks to schedule around it. My girlfriend is coming along and two of my patients as well. 17th-25th, so yes, I will see you there! I am stoked!!!

blazeoneup- Thank you sir, it helps to have good friends who are so willing to share. I hope you are doing well.

FlowerFarmer- I use the granular, and I cannot make an educated guess on which one would be best. Your amendments should work fine, and as for the calmag you should shoot for a 2-1 calcium to magnesium ratio from what I have read. So like 20 10 30-15 and so on. I am using som sunleaves soil sweetner right now and it has way crazy ca/mg ratios compared to the bulk stuff I have been getting. If you follow the recipe it will work, as long as you have a proper environment and genetics and you can raise a light and splash water lol. Good luck to you and please share your results and experience.

Dawn Patrol- Thanks, hope its not getting boring in here I need to change the tempo lol

Pseudo- You are welcome, thanks for coming by.

All right IC got a few things to update. The Sour Bubble crop came down in record time, 2 days. I hit literally the same exact number 3 times in a row now so I am excited to play with another strain. The room was cleaned and reset and the katsu bubba kush monsters were moved in. They are getting 10+ days in veg in the big room, I needed to stall my schedule a bit, which sucks it means alot of P's but I have a little vacation coming up I needed to work around.

I pimp smacked them a little hard with a tea full of all kinds of shit and the new amount of light and different conditions screwed them up for a couple days but they are quickly adjusting. I am finishing up staking them down and sideways filling the canopy tomorrow and this weekend flower will begin. I will start updating that room in a week or two when things takeoff.

The OG/Chem room is on day 36 now and things are going very well. I gave them some minor burn pushing them with some flower nutes but they are doing awesome. I will update with some photos on them soon.

Next for veg I can't decide if I wanna run two 10 weekers in a row or not. I am either running my east coast sour bubble through or my grape bogglegum. I have a few more days to make a decsion. I have 6 og/chem plants again to go into the empty flip/flop in next 10 days or so.

Tonight I cleaned up my breeding area and got my seed plants transplanted and into flower. I have 5 Katsu Bubba Kush x Sour Bubble bx4 #11 plants that are going to open pollenate and make f2's, and also pollenate katsu bubba kush making katsu bx1's. The sour katsu look stellar thus far. I have a reversed SFV OG that is going to be getting all up on a nice sized sour bubble keeper making feminized Sour Bubble OG woohooo. I have 2-3 weeks to get my second breeding flower space up, the breeding chamber is about to be a perpetual flip flop situation, speeding things up tremendously.

This thread was nominated by TonyGreen in the contest forum for "Grow of the Season". The winning grow will be featured in the ICMag E-Magazine. At the end of the month nominees will be choosen by Mods and public poll will be used to determine the winner. If and win I will update here, I hope to see many of you there supporting this thread should I be nominated. Thanks TonyGreen.

I was told this Friday my seeds will hit Seedbay for the 420 Fundraiser. There are:

20packs of Sour Bubble F2's and bx3 x bx4. 12 per pack. 4 seeds from each female, one of the females was my keeper. Each seed was hand selected for quality. I wish anyone who purchases these to support the 420 event good luck and please let me know how they turned out for you.

10packs of Deathbubble, 5 seeds per pack. Seeds are feminized. My keeper Sour Bubble x Deathstar. The deathstar was reversed. So far the plants have a ton of variation, and trichrome production is way up. There are some serious keepers to be found.
