Its really between the Grateful Dead and Winwood's Traffic

But I think Warren Haynes does it top top notch, like blow your mind good.

Winwood with Clapton comes to mind...

Sorry (not really, but platitudes sometimes help), but it's Traffic's version for me, all the way. The Dead were a thing, but never really inspired me all that much.

Traffic specifically or do you really mean old school Steve Winwood? Cause thats a big distinction really, Winwood is still playing that shit at SXSW and other spots to this day. Just saying is he getting better with age, or was the first puff the strongest?
