Dog hair hash.

hi there everyone. i was gifted a elbow or two of trim from a friend who i gave clones to over the summer. i have my home made kiff screens i forgot the micron size i chose a while back but its somewhere from 130-110. the kiff looks nice and blond and im getting a lot but the problem is this guy has 4 dogs and the hairs make it threw the screen.
any suggestions on how to get the hair out?
or what to do with this hair laden hash.- i dont want to eat it.

i did what i could the rottweiler hair was no problem but the chihuahua hairs make it impossible. .

animals and finishing meds are a terrible mix

you can burn off the hair ( gross )

you can pick out the hair ( better )

you could water wash or better filter it ( not sure on the pros and cons ) but any hair mixed with hash or sticky icky is a BITCH to try and separate.

this is a lesson I learned many years ago and haven't had an issue with since, animals don't grow my plants so they do not get to go anywhere near them.

I still don't know what I hate more, animal hair or human hair but both make me put the pipe down pretty fast just as if I bit into a sandwich and saw a hair in it as well.

I think the paranoid worries of what could be in the buds, meds, edibles and extracts is exactly why I grow and make my own.

This came up before on a thread and the final solution was to charge a baloon with static electricity by rubbing it and wave it over the top of the material and to pick up the hairs.

lol that was an idea that we joked around about but i didnt think that would work. i will certainly give it a try and let you know how it worked after i find a balloon.

i've had good success using a credit card to act like i'm "chopping" it up on a table, the end of the card starts to get sticky and pulls the hairs out. you'll start to notice all the hairs are now stuck to the edge of the credit card for easy removal

it did work a little bit but didn't do the job also some kiff was (positively?) charged also and stuck to the balloon.
i would be interested in some sort of water was if i could find a good link.

I never understood why people bring their pets into their grow rooms with sticky flowering plants or while they are making hash/oil.

I once had some buds that had dog hair on the inside of the bud, the grower obviously brought his dog threw the grow during its whole flowering lifecycle because there was hair threw out. Yuk.

Dogs n cats are great and all, but fuck I can't get past all that hair on everything. lol

but yeah they live there he doesn't bring them around. also he doesn't care about the trim with dog hair in it, that's why it was gifted to me.
