Autoflowering AK-47 - 75W LED

Mjello!
I´ve got 5 feminized auto ak-47, under my 75W LED.
Growing in regular boring soil now, and soon to be transplanted - But when?
They streched out a bit but i´m thinking theyd be allright!
Tips and critic are VERY welcome!
they are a little under a week over ground.

hey, no offense intended but just so you know, your led array is only putting out at best 50watts... that is just the way these things work. if they were driven at 3w they wouldn't last long.

best of luck my brother, stay safe

:tiphat:

Hey mate

I dont get it, cause they are driven by 3W ? :) It's 25*3W.

Either way the LED lamp was just to try it out, i've heard both good and bad things about em'.

I appreciate your answer! ;)

all retailers list what the diodes are rated at. in your case 3W per diode, 25 diodes, 75 watts. in reality all of them are under driven, not just yours, all... about 2W per diode.

check out my LED mythbusting thread in my sig. people putting kill-a-watts to their LEDS dispelling the retailer claims. most retailers don't disclose the actual draw, but some do...

might want to check out my LED gram per watt thread too. interesting grows with a variety of brands...

rock on :tiphat:

Thanks for all the info about the LED, i'll buy a bigger LED next time, it seems to work just fine! :)

Now to the update:
They've been 9 days over ground today, and we just added a little fan to make them a little stronger.
Does anybody know why the little on in the front of the picture is'nt growing as fast as the others ?? :( And should we be concerned?

Just using normal boring flower soil, its freezing in my country so it is impossible too get any good soil. Perlite is not available either, but we will try to get a hold of some before we move the babys to some bigger pots.
When do you think we should move them btw?

Is it a Kestrel?

I like fems

and

I like LED's!

I have a little breeding project now from two fem strains intertwined, Im working on S3's this run [well before 2014], fingers crossed.

G3 is absolutely right, I nearly killed myself reading all the LED stuff that G3 puts out, very thorough. In the end I went CFL for now, those Kestrels are small but cutting edge, cheers!

13 days over ground, still going strong.
Just moved them to 6,6L pots and we hope that they'l aim for the sky!(or lamp)

a little yellow leaves and hanging a bit? maybe nute burn?

i wouldnt feed them with nutes so early in the process. it has cotyledons which give it its nutrients for the first couple of weeks of life. jus a suggestion. or maybe very light nutes.
keep it green

20 days over ground...
So for the break with the updates!
Things are going very fast with the girls, some size difference though.
The two plants that didnt look good the last update is looking very good now! We just cut off the bad yellow leaves and flushed them with clean water for 2 days, and puff! - Now they´re aaaaalllll goooood...

The other one that didn´t look good, coming great again but seams very different from the other ones. Looking more like a Sativa to us..
What do you think?
