I have this strain cloning rigth now but i dont know nothing about its characteristics. It was gifted to me as seed. Could anyone with experience with this straing give me grow info: flowering time, average yield, grow tips, grow charasteristics, ligth or heavy feeader, nutrient picky, and opinions of the bud itsealf?

Cali Purp grow tips?

hi,
if you mean the purps then you have some good grass to grow. purple is a color but it also is a strain. urkle, barney, mendo purps and the purps all the same thing. gdp is the purp crossed with a big bud to fatten it up a bit.
give it a little space side to side as she likes to branch out a bit. not much of a stretch really so veg her up in size a bit. medium strength feed. resistant to pm but due to the buds density can get botyritis. pretty ripe by 8 weeks but the color can come a bit later if the room is warm and the feeds were heavy.
the flavor in the smoke lasts right to the end of the joint. it didnt rule the cali scene for a decade because it sucked. when i tested it at the lab it came in at 19.5 percent.
that should be enough to get you going. have fun!

havent grown the purps but have urkle and gdp abunch. med nutes and double ur veg time, top and then top again. then like a week or 2 before u flower cut it back to 8-10 growth tips if u want big buds otherwise youll get a ton of small nugs. and flush good. i usually stop feeding like week 7, 2 week flush haverst week 9-10

+1, if its grape ape, gdp, urkle, pk sr71, etc.. veg a long time.. get a lot of different tops.. prune them.. they dont stretch much at all.
