??? OLD ???

so wtf is old anyway

Im a classic my dear

I look pass for 26=28 and I am in my mid 50s

women are jealous

and not saying that in a vain way I always have to watch my back, which gets old ...
I hate to leave house alone I have men follow me in stores and make passes to me and even when my man is around
it gets old

but I am not old
I can out work most all young men and women alike
I think in general most are just plain lazy now days

men are intimidated because I can do guy things as well as girl things and have more knowledge than they ever dreamed of having

I am from a different generation where we did we knew we had to do for ourselves
now everyone is instant gratification

I am tired of jealous people omg
they could do the same as us but they just are too lazy to

tired of people making comments on how I am with an old man but we are the same age

so what the F is age

OLD is a negative word
lets use classic

we improve with age

im far better now than I was years back

im like a fine wine

so tired of this old mess

its all in the attitude

if you think act old you will be old

get out and have a life and some fun

stop letting people tell you that you are old

I don't dress old I don't act old
and I know how to have fun because I wont accept old for one minute

im a classic !!!:blowbubbles:

so think of all those poor people in nursing homes discarded for being old just waiting to die
they have a lot to offer still
old is an attitude

get over old

I wont accept old

LOL.

(For all of you 40+s who can't remember anything about the 60s)

I'm 35 and I can't even remember anything about the 80s... when is that tagline going to be updated?

Hi pink.lovebud, great topic. You sound like a little treasure. I'm probably one of those fellows who gives you a polite little 'toot' as i drive past you :D

I'm early 50's but have been told i look 45 and could pass for 40 if i had a haircut and shave-not gonna happen haha.
I feel pretty young at heart i think but probably a little old fashioned in my values. For instance i won't swear in front of a lady and will open a car door for her when i'm on a date. Little things like that. When i'm with the boys however i can have a mouth that would embarrass a fisherman :D I like to think i'm diverse enough though to consider new ideas. Especially growing. I'm probably the oldest indoor newbie here. Grew outdoors a bit over the years but am fascinated by indoor growing. The ol' brain has fired up again :)

Thanks
Kenny

Meant to write this in previous post.
Darn old grunt, You need to be of a certain age and have to apply for Medicare? That's terrible. Here in Australia you are covered as soon as your born. I think you also get it straight away when you come here to live but don't take that as gospel.

So true! What about- You're only as old as the woman you feel. Going out with a 30's something lass on the weekend :)

Yes and no. My head is still 25, my body is something like 75 so the mean is pretty close to my correct age. I hate not being able to exercise as before, can´t walk in the woods et etc.

I guess I should enjoy what I have left but it´s hard being a semi-invalid when I used to be a well built "superman" :)

47 and looking at the fact I'll soon be in the next decade of my timeline here on Earth.....but I'm loving life, and will carry on doing my things. I feel lucky in that respect.

Good thread starter pink.lovebud.

most days i look at the shit going on in the world these days and i'm glad i got to grow up when i did.

i guess you could call it old, but it would be in the thesaurus with lucky and /or blessed

i'm glad i remember when all the important stuff was not plugged into the wall or a charger

tbh id quite like to see a 50+ pass for 28 lol

saying people are lazy nowdays is what old grannies tell each other while they are waiting for the bus. interest in health and working out etc is at an all time high so i dont see that being true.
