i just love it every time they report numbers and figures ........ they were probably making BHO with a pound of schwag with a street value of $75,000 when this shit happened

I've always wondered where they get this bullshit, I think they might get it confused with coke or heroin sometimes, or maybe they think folks are cutting the weed?

I don't know

BHO is like the meth of weed, it's only a matter of time til it's production gets outlawed. This isn't the first time I have heard of someone blowing up the house while trying to make it. There is some real dumbasses out there.

Joseph Tydingco, 52, rushed out of his room after what felt like a major earthquake and saw black smoke billowing from rooms. He grabbed a fire extinguisher and, with another guest, removed mattresses as they heard people screaming outside.

Why was the guy removing mattresses?

Yep. This keeps up and everyone's going to be making nothing but water hash.

This is the reason why there shouldn't be such a thing as a "BHO For Dummies" type of thread, of which there are zillions out there, not just this site. The way I've always seen it, instructionals that require knowledge of lab practices and general safety should be written in a manner in which ONLY people who understand the lingo can follow them. I know many people will disagree with me, but oh well.

Some people just shouldn't be allowed to come into contact with any solvents, EVER.

Um, what I was getting at is that it is a highly concentrated product made from the use of explosive materials and is often made by people that have no clue, nor care about safe handling or manufacturing conditions. Outside of the internet I know some real stupid people that whip this shit up in their kitchen and don't even think about how it might be explosive. Fill a room with high enough ppm of flammable material and something as simple as turning on a light switch could turn you into a fire ball.

Static electricity is WAY more of a threat than turning on the light switch, but hidinginthehaze's point still remains! The problem is people are generally too stupid to be messing with flammable solvents in enclosed spaces.

Why didn't they just do the Everclear extraction and not have to face all that risk? I think someone has to sit them down and have a serious discussion about lab safety and smoking in the lab.

wasn't trying to give you shit about your opinion brother

you may be right about them passing some law to stop the production of BHO ........... but from your post i know you realize that stupid just can't be fixed

and if BHO accidents do anything to dredge the shallow end of the gene pool that is o.k. with me

Yes I agree laws don't fix stupid. Even a spoon can be dangerous in the hands of a mouth breather
