So i just put the seeds in the dirt?

I have some seeds and I have some dirt. Going to try and grow me some world class weed.



Edit: The rundown...

Tent: Secret Jardin DR120 II

Lighting: 3x18w fluoro - pre sex veg (5 weeks)
Philips son-t agro 400w - veg
Philips son-t plus 600w - flower

Ballast: Solis-Tek Matrix

Reflector: Sun System Low Rider 6"

Filter: Phresh Filter 150x500

Exhaust: 3 speed 150mm Budget brand - Kicks ass

Dirt: 50/50 coco & a local potting mix.

Added a local mycorrhizae.
6 species endomycorrhizae
3 species ectomycorrhizae
2 species bacillus
2 species trichoderma
and some other beneficials w/ added organic amendments

Will feed with organic tea's mostly.

You can do that if you want..... If i was you i'd be doing alot of reading on this site if you've never grown from seed. I wouldn't use dirt, i use coco coir.

nowt wrong with dirt, and yes i just plant the seeds about 1cm deep in the soil and make sure they are warm (around 70) and that the soil DOESN"T DRY OUT. you will need to check them daily to be sure of this.
if you use a heat mat/heated propagator then also make sure it doesnt get too hot.

people use all kind of complicated methods to germ seeds but i and many others simply plant in the dirt as nature intended.

P.S. use a 'light' soil without added ferts for your seeds, and then use a richer soil with nutes when you repot for the first time

I plant directly into pro mix.

Pro mix is very forgiving stuff.

Well i will be running 1 maybe two strains.

1st up are some F2 Orange Diesel by Verite. I'm popping just 3 and today they are 2 days above the dirt.
Its some good shit. I did a lil F2 hunting and found a few awesome specimens so lets hope these 3 beans produce a nice female. I know what to look for at least.
As far as i can tell its a cross of SamS? (Cali-O X skunk #1) X NYCD
I have read that the NYCD is more specificity ECSD v3 F2 male.

Whatever it is its a winner for sure

Orange Diesel Intro

2nd will be a top quality specimen chosen from 75 (SSSDH (OJD CUT) x Jack Herer#22) X Aurora Borealis F2's. I have named it WCW, world class weed. It is extremely potent and the smallest amount puts you in a nice high high place.

She has just started to reveg and i cant wait to have a good supply of this to smoke.

Its been about 40 days since i put the 3 Orange Diesels seeds in the dirt. Since that time they have sat with the WCW reveg plant under a massive bank of fluoros, 54 watts in total lol. Topped & fimmed a couple of times.
It looks like I have 1 maybe 2 Orange Diesel females so its time to raid the storage shed and get the HPS cranking.
