Buenos NEW 150w HPS Tent Grow

OK so I started soaking some seeds for the next run.

SWT#4 IBL x6
PLAT x CJ x3
BB x CJ x4
RP OG Kush s1 x1
Bagseed x1 (for the hell of it)

So 15 seeds are soaking overnight in plain tap water. Then tomorrow they will be moved to moist paper towels in baggies to germinate. 14 of the 15 seeds are regulars only one feminized which is the OGK S1.

Hoping for atleast 9 females but you never know when starting from seed. Also hoping these BBCJ and PLATCJ seeds germinate since they are somewhat fresh seeds, harvested the buds like 7 weeks ago for the BBCJ and 8 weeks ago for the PLATCJ so they might have had enough time to germ well we shall see.

Going with 1/2 gallon bags again this next run too, SOG style again. Depending on how many females maybe vertical bulb but probably not just have to wait and see how she goes.

Perfectly timed inspiration, for me, as I'm planning to utilize a 2x2 or 2x3 space.

I had been doing too much talking about running more SWT#4 and making some seeds for server fund or freebies and now is the time to take action and do the damn thing. Started 6 of the 12 I had left for this run. Should be able to get a couple nice males and females.

And I am curious to see what I can find in some of these crosses I made. Hopefully I get a nice pheno or two out of the couple beans Im starting with this run.

I've considered doing that myself, but can never seem to find the proper alignment of space, opportunity, and plant numbers. I still have dozens of SOTF's original SWT#4 as well as hundreds of seeds I made from them, plus all of the crosses he made. I would LOVE to dedicate an entire cycle to a seed run, but it's going to be at least two more cycles before I can get around to that. I'm really glad you are doing this before me

You know I'll be watching for sure, hehe

I love making crosses and seeing what comes from them, it's pretty rewarding isn't it? I've got a couple cj crosses in a little micro-sog right now that smell absolutely divine!

I have made 12 crosses now and havent grown a single seed of my own making. I am going to start doing that more now I think see what I can find in my crosses.

For the scrog each plant is in a 2 gallon grow bag.

I grew one ogk s1 already, there are pics of it earlier in the thread it was the grow before the clone SOG.

It was very nice, I would recommend it. Super chemdawg funk. Very earthy lemon pinesol kerosene funkyness.

I went to the hydro shop and got a fresh bag of Ocean Forest.

All 6 SWT#4s, all 3 Platinum Kush x Chemmy Jones (we will call it Platinum Jones or PJ), the OGK S1, the bagseed, and only 1 of the 4 Blackberry Kush x Chemmy Jones (we will call it Blackberry Jones or BJ). Hopefully some of the other 3 BJ germ but if not theres plenty more seeds to pop.

All 12 germinated seeds were just put in cups of straight Ocean Forest.

They will probably get 2-3 weeks 24/0 veg from seed and then I will put them under 12/12 in the 150 tent.

very nice thread bt, looking close to chop, how many days ya think ya got left? cant wait to see the dry yeilds. seems 2 plants will give a better yeild with some variety, the multi strains look like it sacrifices yeild big time. how much do ya smoke a day and can doing 8, 9 plants at a time sustain yer habbits? i love variety and seems the more weed i have the more i smoke, will that tent and 150 let ya smoke 2 grams a day average of different weeds?after watching dennys thread seems a lot of space is wasted up top and easier to hidfe a shorter tent, keep up the good research !

Hey Bag thanks for stoppin by.

I think 1.5-2 weeks til harvest I plan to chop at no earlier than 8 and not later than 9 weeks.

I dont really know about yield this round I almost feel I could have got more with taller stalks of bud but it will probably be around 3oz or a hair more I hope.

I dont smoke a lot really with all the runs so far in this tent I have been getting 3.5oz or a bit more per run regardless of plant numbers topped or untopped as long as I fill the space up pretty well full.

I supply myself and my stepdad with the herbs and I can produce a little more than I consume with the 150 setup.

I probably smoke/vape about 1g a day maybe more or less on a given day.

Say I get a average of 3.5oz per 9 weeks or 63 days thats 1.5g a day I could go through theoretically. Enough for me but maybe not for some people.
