what do Aussies smoke?...usually a whole Marlboro cigarette emptied onto 4 Tally-Ho cigarette papers joined together and to that they add a little hydroidized damp bud they over pay for..the ratio of tobacco to bud is usually about 5 :1 .....

I know, cos I was one them for decades until I got smart and dropped the baccy habit

even those who use a water pipe (bong) mixed a handfull of cigarettes with a gram of bud

with the widespread use of unfiltered cigarette tobacco being inhaled in Oz I reckon we'll see a big increase in lung cancers among cannabis smokers there.

to those who smoke tobacc with ganja....if you can't kick your habit then please, for your health's sake, use Drum or other rolling tobacco in smaller amounts with more bud int he jay or the mix....

manufactured cigarette tobacco contains about 200 additives, many of which are cancer causing..the tobacco is stale and low grade....roll your own tobaccos are purer, fresher, have less additives and are designed for smoking unfiltered

the thing is, tobacco doesn't do anything, it doesnt get you higher, you don't get to taste the subtle flavours and scents..etc..as a matter of fact it dulls the high and allows dealers to sell you wet bud...smoke cannabis by itself and be healthier, taste the difference and don't smell like an ashtray...drop the nicotine habit, don't be a slave to multinational cig co's that use reconstituted crap tobacco grown with chemical ferts........

99% of smokers in Australia wouldn't know what strain they are smoking...the most common name for cannabis in Oz is "dope"..which is what you are if you smoke cash crop hydroided shit full of chemical ferts, insecticides and fungicides and then add a handful of tobacco to it then smoke it ...sheesh!...England is the same!...madness!

actually WW has a point...but i wouldn't use the word stupid...i would use uneducated...but we aussies really know its a case of 'close enough is near enough'...she'll be right mate....

smoking with tobacco with weed is fairly common...but most i know don't mix...

as for strains we have BUSH or DRO...

there are only a few i know i can talk strains, phenos etc with...most have very little idea

Weed seems to be something Aussies don't talk about with other people unless you know that person either smokes or doesn't have a problem with it..or on the net. I was sitting in a centrelink office the other week and found myself watching people and mentally deciding who smoked. Then went a bit further in thinking 'i wonder how many of these people grow and know their strains and breeders. Then thought, -I'll never know

yeah getting some of that here as well...the more mature smokers seem to prefer a more organic approach...however the younger crew all want the dro...

wellll i did get expelled before i turned 14, you could leave them days at 14, good news. did get a wonderful street smarts education= edavacation we called it yes bacca and canna mixed was the norm,because everything them days had to stretch along way if a mate hands me a mixed smoke i intend to smoke the fucker, thai sticks was good , got to rememberwas hard to get any good stuff like you have got know, was for us city slikkers kids.

now, now, Wally. many of us are not as edivicated (thanks for that word, Noyd) as others are.

for example: I only knew about that since joining these pages a cuppla years ago.

if yr not in a scene and yez lives quietly and just does yr own thing ... all sorts of interesting info can pass by without notice.

another thing I didn't know until rdg these pages is this business about curing dope. in my profound ignorance I just thought it needed to be dried slowly and then put away. (actually that's all I still do. I think curing is bullshit ... and that you can't improve on what the plant has already done for you.

not that this is a grumble ... just an observation.

and just to mix the thread up ... it's a sunny day here. the first one for about six weeks. have to go and spray neem cos some of my buds have turned brown. downy mildew, I think.
