If so what was it and how would you describe the high?
I would love to find something like what I found about 20 years ago.
Appearance:
A friend gave me a gram of buds, it had a very mild smell of passion fruit, I don't remember it having lots of trichomes or being oily in appearance.
Effect:
I was pretty inexperienced, but I rolled the gram in to two straight joints which I smoked completely to myself.
I had smoked the second joint about 30min after the first since I was feeling so good I wanted to increase the effect.
I felt a moment of fear as I thought maybe I could die from being so high, this was fleeting though and soon passed. (I put that down to inexperience rather than paranoia).
Then I turned off the light in my room and listened to music. The music was just simply amazing. I soon started to notice a soaring sensation as I took flight on the wings of my imagination. I had very vivid visuals of fantastic alien landscapes in the darkness, which to this day I remember (they were better than any I had on any psychedelic, more detailed, more real, more beautiful).
After a while I regained awareness of my body and decided to get up and turn my light on. Walking across the room in the dark I felt like I was floating, I started to laugh at how crazy it was, feeling like I was walking on the moon.
Maybe after an hour or two it wore off and I felt completely normal with no after effects, hangover or tiredness. It was as if nothing had ever happened.
To sum it up it felt like I had been handed the keys to a magical land that had completely blown me away. I had found six magical seeds in that gram!
From those seeds I got four females and two males (grown outdoor - in Australia, early 90's, lat 37 approx).
I didn't know what to expect, but with out fail after 15-20mins after starting to smoke a joint I would be suddenly flying through the clouds. I wouldn't know when it hit me, I would just become aware that I was off the planet after sometime, a real creeper. Each time I would start to smoke a joint I would think I might not get high this time, but I always did, the cumulative nature of the smoke meant that eventually I would break though. If I started to come down, I would just re-light the joint and be off again.
Main characteristics:
1.It produced very strong trails in my vision. I did not get any visuals from these offspring though unlike the above experience.
2.Entrancing. My friend said that every time he shifted his head he felt like he was in a different world, I told him that it happened to me too. We then nicknamed this dope "different worlds". You would just want to be as still as possible to stay in the trance, but any time you moved you noticed just how out there you were.
3.A floating sensation, very physical in nature.
4.Soaring through the clouds, intense imaginative effects
5.Forgetting you have a body (really related to the trance effect).
6.The best effect: utter bliss, no dark corners, paranoia, bodily effects, no fast heart beat, nothing to distract you from feeling wonderful.
7.It was always exciting, an adventure that I always just wanted to embark on.
8.Versatile, it could be a real party with energy if you wanted it to be or you could just groove on the trance like effects and meditate.
Afterwards:
I eventually got around to smoking the males and was surprised to find them to be as good if not better than the females even though I could not see any trichomes.
I didn't keep any seeds because I was a novice and mistakenly thought all dope was like this.
In an effort to recapture this wonderful experience I ended up trying many psychedelics, shrooms, acid, dmt, salvia etc, but in my mind though they were much more powerful and had much more wide ranging effects, they did not have the magic of this dope that I had been blessed to experience.
I smoked many types of sativas from different people and none were in the same league. Some more potent in terms of concentration, but none as blissful or exciting with that soaring beauty to them. I tried thai varieties, had some friends mullumbimby strains a few times, I grew some nevilles haze out, they were all very nice, but not even close.
I gave up smoking five years ago. I recently read through the ultimate sativa thread and other sativa threads trying to find any clues, but I have none. Sometimes I think maybe it was my virgin brain that allowed that experience and now it can't be recaptured.
I am now approaching my fortieth year and have some romantic notions of experiencing that soaring bliss again, but I don't want to get stoned, I just want some of that spiritual sacrament.
So that is why I asked this question of you, perhaps someone has felt this and experienced it themselves. I would love to hear your stories. Maybe someone knows what is around today that is like this.

I just love hearing those stories about elite strains that seem almost mythical in their effect.
