In my younger days we backpacked in the Trinity Alps every summer!

I got to get back into shape and start doing this again, those were some great times puffing fatties and laying on the granite watching the stars!

3:30 Get some groceries...I FUCKING bag....$65.00

4:30 Get home get mail GODDAMIT mortage bill ..their is another $2,200.00
Gas bill $120.00
Water bill $49.00
Insurance bill $129.00
Total; $2,498

And this isn't even including Credit Cards, or MANY other bills!

Welcome to Cali!

Haha, I live in the same area and this sounds almost exactly like my life, just add a girl and 2 dogs. We live up in the mtns and love it. Most beautiful place on earth (SC and SC MTNS). Life is a garden, Dig! Our garden is made of coco.

I just read that the NorCal region (Bay and Sact'o area) has experienced the driest January on record.

It`s been dry up here in Nor-Cal. Chico area. Our Pacific is turning into a cesspool instead of a system of climate control. We need the rains or else more of Cali is going to burn. For the last 5 years, Nor-Cal has been burning up in fires. It`s too fucking dry. It does not rain June-Sept, rained a little in Dec, nothing much in Jan. If Feb, March, and April don`t rain much, more fires to burn our beautiful land.

Terrible...

Does anyone have an opinion of Riverside ( canyon crest? ), Temecula?

We are considering a move from So Fla and concerns as to how the dry and the cold in southern california will effect my degenerative disc disease as it's the opposite of here which is humid and hot.

Could it be a place to retire ?

Traffic is not a biggy, we work from home. Want to be in a suburban setting with trees.
