I like playing cards.

Darts are fun when I'm drinking.

Horseshoes are great in the summer.

Any game that you can play without staring into a TV beats the pants off of video games in my opinion.

computer games peaked with mariokart on the snes

I'm sorry, but that's not true...peaked in 1997? I'm afraid not on that one. Did you happen to play anything from this generation of systems (Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U, PS3)?

lol you making this your battle..

yes i have played and own all the modern systems,, ive had about 3 ps3s, i only ever needed one snes though..

i had way more gaming hours out of mariokart on the snes and enjoyed them more than any game since apart from maybe san andreas..

its all the same shit anyway imo, timing, position, point and click.. doesnt matter if you are firing a green shell at someone on MK or playing halo firing rockets at a warthog..

just hand eye coordination.. but modern games seriously lack gameplay which has been replaced with mind boggling graphics.. and they want you to buy the game but then pay for downloads constantly.. isnt worth it, get a life people..

there are exceptions like driving games like gran turismo but generally games are all the same warfare promoting nonsense.. metal gear solid is good though..

still, they didn't 'peak' in 97..that's hilarious though.

If they did 'peak' as you say, then what about all the good games there are these days that actually do have gameplay?

what say you? :)

well it is a matter of opinion isnt it ??

i think they did :dunno:

and i think 99.9% the modern games made are shit.. you say "actually do have gameplay" but i think we have different definitions of what a fun game is..

classic nintendo + marios bros 3. never been topped.

period.

you also forgot to add PC as a game console... most good games were for pc only... lucas arts games of the 80s and 90s for example, etc...

Nah but for me I think I had the most fun times with n64, it had golden eye, zelda, 1080 and that jetski game.
... But then wit the playstation and twisted metal, resident evil 1/2/3, and ff7... Shit they all probly got some good games.
