Anyone use a Tap Master TMAFC for RO water?....supposed to add back Cal and Mag

Hope that I am posting in the correct forum...If not please redirect........

I found a deal on a new Tap Master / Perfect Water RO under counter system NIB for $115.........It is supposed to add back Cal and Mag to the supply.........Cheapest online I've found is $415....MSRP about $615.

Anyone use this for RO?

Model # is TMAFC

How well do you like it?.......Any Problems getting nutes to respond to the Cal/Mag?

Is tap water OK for a soil grow???.........I want to use this for a drain to waste using pumice stones for a medium......

Thanks for any and all help.

I've used 100% R/O water and 0% cal or mag additions for 10 years with GH nutes. (Edit: Not quite true.. I've had a few mag hungry strains that loved a pinch of epsom for the first month of flower)

If your tap water is clean enough... sure. Get it tested and look around for modifying your nute profile around what's in it. Personally I perfer R/O as it's always the same... no matter where I've moved to.

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:

PLEASE HELP!!!!

What system are you guys using for RO water?
Will the bacteriostatic NSA couter top filters work....or systems like PUR water filters???
I am not a scientist.....I guess that is easy to tell...however I grew outdoors in the 70's with good results..

Thanks,

From Manufacturer:

Tap Master Artesian Full Contact Reverse Osmosis System solves many of the problems associated with traditional RO systems. Tap Master systems use larger fittings and tubing than Traditional RO systems to double the flow rate. Traditional RO systems produce demineralized water that is pure but acidic. This acidic water attacks the rubber bladder in the storage tank, entering the water stream and affecting the taste. The patented Tap Master Artesian Full Contact remineralizes the water twice. Our patented remineralization system pH balances the water once on the way to the storage tank, and once again on the way to the faucet adding a small amount of calcium and magnesium minerals (30-60 mg/l) - just enough to make the water slightly alkaline and improve the taste. The Artesian Full Contact delivers Mineral Water on Tap by first stripping the water clean, removing up to 98% of chlorine, chemicals, heavy metals, dissolved solids, pharmaceuticals and other contaminants using reverse osmosis, sediment and carbon filtration, then channels the water through the patented remineralization system twice to add calcium and magnesium minerals from a fresh new source. With 7 stages of filtration, purification and enhancement The Tap Master Artesian Full Contact produces exceptionally pure, Mineral Water on Tap.

Sounds good to me....I'm trying to find out if anyone uses it???

Thanks,
