Overfert, ph or Mg def?

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with my plants and I would really appreciate any help.

My setup: DR 2, 400w, 1 extractor, 2 fans, 11l pots, 4xPP 4xMK,
Nuts: Plagron Grow, Biobizz bloom, top max, green sensation

Its 42 days on 12/12 period. I am using fert every 2nd watering. Now I am adding 3ml bloom and 2ml topmax and watering 1l per plant.

I dont think its overfert because I was careful with nuts, adding little bit less than stated on the bottle. With Ph am not sure, am using ph-, just a little bit, but after some research am not going to use it anymore as it is not good with biobizz fert.

So could anyone please clarify if I am right that is Mg deficiency?
I bought today Canna Mono 7% MgO and I want to be sure before using it. And if its Mg problem, how much should I use? 1-2ml/l as stated on bottle or different?

Definitely not a Mg-, more like a Ca-. I'm not sure you can really do much about it now... how far in are you..? Ah, 42 days. How long do you plan on taking them? If it's only another couple of weeks, there really is not much you can do about the problem now. Just be ready next time, have some Ca in the mix or in the feed. If there already is (I don't know anything about Plagron or the nutrients you're using) Ca, the mix/feed needs more.

I am planning to harvest them +- on day 60 so another 18 days left. After research on web and books, I thought that its Ca or Mg, but I went for Mg as the leaves looks more like that but I dont know

I looked at Dutch Passion pages and some photos of powerplant and it looks like they have the same problem as mine plants. Can it be some common problem with this fenotype from DP?

I was fertilizing as following - dosis are per litre:

11.12 - switched to 12/12 phytamin + half dosis of plagron grow
16.12 - phyt + 500 ml water
20.12 - phyt + 1ml biobizz bloom 1ml topmax 600ml water
23.12 - phyt + 600 h2o
26.12 - 1ml bloom 1ml topmax 600 ml h2o
29.12 - phyt + 10ml bioheaven 700 ml h2o
1.1 - 800 ml h2o
4.1 - 2ml bloom 1ml topmax 1l h2o
7.1 - 1l h2o
11.1 - 3ml bloom 1ml topmax 1l h20
14.1. - 1l h2o
16.1 - 3ml bloom 2ml topmax 1l h2o
20.1 - 1ml Green sensation. 800 ml h2o

Could I overfertilize like this? Cause thats what Ive been told on other forum..

Yesterday I got Alg-a-Mic from Biobizz do u think I should use try it?

And last question: the flowering period stated by the banks is from first day of 12/12 or from first pistil?

Todays photos for ilustration, where u can see - a little bit - that only top and bud leaves are deformed.

How much water is running off each time you water? 1 liter or water for an 11 liter pot seems like not quite much. If water isn't running out the bottom, like 10-20% of what you put in, salts can build up in the soil, and throw off ph. I am not really seeing the speckling you would get with a Ca deficiency, or the chlorosis with Mg defs, it looks more like overfert, but that could just be corrected with some more water when you just give it water only. You aren't really feeding them a ton of nutrient too often, looking at that schedule.

Hi!

I have some cal mag issues starting to show up...

(Durban poison few days back...)
Not bad atm, but i know where it can go from here...
My last run was not that good at all becouse i didnt do anything about it.
(no need to anything else tha A+B they say....)

I think my main issue is my very soft water.
EC 0.03, PH 6 and dH <0.6... (One dH = 17 ppm)

Second run now with these stains and this water...
Im now in day 22 with 12/12.
Small pots(4-6l), hand watering multiple times a day.
Canna coco+ coco A+B+ Zym + boost, PH:d to 5.8 and EC 1.1-1.4...

So now i bought canna mono ca and mg bottles.

It says 1-2ml/l.
I hit both 5ml/7.5l water and after that EC was 0.4.
Add 15ml A+B, and it went to 1.3 EC...
I dont want any stonger than 1.4, becouse i have some plants that wont like to take any more.

Im planning to do few days waterings with that, and then use just 1-2ml/10l and start using zym, boost and later pk 13/14.

Am i doing it somehwere near right guys?
What do you think?

So could you advise, taking in consideration that i will be, hopefully, harvesting in 18 days, how much should I feed them? Can I use at least green sensation as it is finisher? Or just plain water witr 10-20% run off like u said? thx

not wanting to contradict others ... but if you've been watering this way I reckon yr problem is salt build up ... which means yr pH will be out.

BUT I would not try to correct this or give any more fert until you've flushed yr pots. like let heaps of water flow through the growing medium. you cannot flush too much. flush until you become bored with the task!

after flushing observe yr plants for a day or two then decide whether or not to feed.

but SeaMaiden is correct in that it will be hard to bring yr plants back totally because it's late in the grow.

if you need to know if it is a shortage/overdose of Ca or Mg buy some 'epsom salts' (mgSO4). mix this at 1/4 teaspoon per litre and spray the leaves.

the yellow will go away in 24 hours if it is an Mg shortage.

if it does not go away you have a shortage of Nitrogen!!!!

(a shortage of Ca will show spots on the leaf. look at the stickies at the beginning of this thread for pictures of deficiencies.)

I would flush them like Sat said. I would do it for like 10 or 15 minutes though, not to go overboard. I would give it straight water the next time you water as well. After that, you can use nutrient. Just make sure to water more in the future. I would give containers that size at least 2l of water each time.

Foliar mg feed seem to do the trick.

Im not as newb on cannabis growing as it sounds, its just this coco & mg/ca stuff that is new to me.
Growing mainly outdoors & soil in my past.

OP:
If you go in coco:
I would use nutes every time i water. (not in final flush ofc)
And water every day.
I water 3x day.
If something seem to go wrong- i flush with 2x pot size of ph:d water and after that mild nutes.
I dont do usually mutch run off, only like 10-20% on every 3th-5th watering...
Salts wont build up so fast if you can keep coco wet.
When it dryes, thats when it comes to salt issues.

If you are in soil, then just flush her good.
