I just ran a pack of Ukhem.9/10 seeds germed. All 9 sprouted, but none ever took off. After they grew to about an inch, all growth came to a halt. They just stopped growing.I waited and waited, but they just never took off,so I culled them all.I really dont think anything were wrong with the seeds though.I read nothing but good reports on CSG.Nothing but top notch genetics. They were a lil old though (bought them in 2011).But I still think that wasnt the problem. My girl bought me a big bag of jiffy plugs off of Amazon, trying to save a couple of dollars. The plugs came in a big paper bag.I think maybe because the plugs were handled and shipped poorly they contained some sort of fungus or disease.Im pretty bummed I lost the Ukhem,Ive been waiting a long time to pop them.Im sprouting some freebees in straight coco, and see if they take off.If they take off and everything is all good,Im gonna cull them and run my Secret Recipes.I cant afford to lose them.Im planning on making them my main work horse.Wish me luck!!

I use the peat plugs regularly with good results but you need to be careful . They can stay too wet too long. I just had 12 out of 15 seeds pop in peat plugs . The only three that didnt sprout were three Peacemaker freebies, which apparently have a lousy germination rate anyhow.
So I guess I could say I got 100 % germ in the latest run. All in Jiffy brand peat plugs.

some strains will do ok in jiffy but the more delicate strains need a bit more love imo mate, ive had some strains do this in soil poys as well i over watered .i lost 2 full packs of dubble dutch in jiffys then went back to pots of soil and all was great since.

id put this down to a case of shit happens mate and no one really to blame... put id down to learning exp
myself i hatch seeds i bog roll and once hatched place straight in to small pots of light airy soimix l feed with a bit silicon and rhizo and fungis, nothing but great resulsts time and time again.. il never use another jiffy ever mate,
root riots soaked in little organic tea or formulex for clones but seeds go bog roll then straight in pots .
well that my stoned view on the whole thing anyway lol

peace and good luck getting you harvest sorted mate :)
