the last harvest is down and bagged.
i got hit with PM in week 5 of bloom.
hit it with greencure to keep it at bay, and it did but took
everything @50 days.
I just bombed the room with fungaflor, i have to cleanup the reusable plant stakes and pot saucers etc etc.
ive read that bleach will not kill spores.
and greencure(potassium bicarbonate) doesn't either,
read the label and it doesn't really specify if it does or
doesn't kill spores?
looks like potassium bicarbonate is only preventative
The least toxic combination seems to be Potassium Bicarbonate, which, while primarily preventative, has some eradicant capability
BUT the greencure site says this
Mildew Infestation Control: In cases of moderate to severe infestation, such as shown in the picture above, GreenCure® can be used to eradicate powdery mildews by spraying plants completely with a mixture of 2 tablespoons of GreenCure® per gallon of water weekly for 3 weeks followed by the preventative program thereafter. GreenCure® kills mold / mildew spores within seconds of contact by causing an immediate dehydration of the spores and destruction of the cell walls. Many of the deceased spores will slough off or be washed away with the next rain or watering. In most instances, leaves can recover, however as with any wound, scars and discoloration can remain. If you prune infected leaves, stalks or branches, they should be disposed of in the trash, because composting will not kill the mold spores.
someone suggested TSP, a detergent powder used to clean houses before painting.
ok did some checking and TSP will do the trick, its cheap and goes a long ways
i found this stuff andit lloks very good, says it organic and can be used the day of harvest

I found more cheap products that kill spores
formula 409 kills *mold* spores,
the active in it is benzalkonium chloride
whether its specific to PM spores...? not sure ??
