My Ti spacecase is bullet proof, aside from the screen getting damaged and its poor kief catching ability. Other than that I have had it for almost 4 years and it is as sharp as day one. The Mendo Mulcher is also a fine piece of metal. A little bulky though.

I have a Sweetleaf that I've had longer then any other, but that's because I don't use it much. The pin style will leave un-ground little turds, teeth do a better job.
Somebody please explain the need for a kiff screen? If you want kiff there lots of better ways to make it and in greater quantities and from your trimming not the bud you are about to smoke. I don't get it.
Teeth break, not from stems, they break from hard as rocks Bubba Kush buds.

here's my thoughts, using a grinder for kief collection purposes is 2nd rate @ best.

@ eBay you'd search in the 'Crafts' category for Chinese Sewing Scissors (aka bead scissors) and the small 4" one is the size for trimming over a kief box.

Looked through all my pics & none have the above scissors I've been using for decades. Small size for trimming dry bud, the larger sizes will work for all grow room needs.

I first found them @ a frontier rendezvous being sold by a 'blades & implement' vendor dressed in buckskins.

cheap kief boxes like mine are no more than $25-30 delivered.......

Amazon has a set of 3 ~~~ 4" ~ 6" & 7" for only $16.50; the 6" & 7" are awesome grow room snips.

thanks for the advice,, what are they called? where from?

lost those are nut meat grinders from the 40's and 50's. Androck is one of the brand names that used to make them. They are on Ebay and amazon and lots of other sites. Check em out, they work so well and never over grind your buds.

If you've got big jobs or want something ridiculously intense, I've seen Magic Bullets do the trick quite nicely, although cleaning the blades is a bit annoying. I hear small coffee grinders work well, too.

I second the user who just uses his hands... they're free and I always have 'em with me.

I love my electric coffee grinder... It only cost me about $15 from K Mart, has lasted me years and chops up a fine minx in just seconds.

I have a drawer full of grinders but I use my fingers when I smoke and for vaping, the Proctor Silex E160BY:

I am a scissors and keif box kind of guy, but I have had a black 4pc diamond grind for 7-8 years now and it still beasts. It was used daily by 3-4 roomates, so it has been used a substantial amount. It has a nice blued steel look to it now, pretty sweet. I have cleaned it only 3 times since purchasing it. Dont know too much about other grinders though.

I find my landlady's new false teeth work a treat, best if she's not got them in though, bud gets a bit claggy.

splurged on a space case bout 6 years ago, it's been great.

not good if the weed is still moist, i.e. you have to use the scissors. other than that, the grind holes are the right size, busts it up real good, kief collector is a nice little treat.

my original grinder was a "crop circle", round, wood, with the nails ... worked GREAT, but a magnet to hold it together would have been nice. it was very cheap.

bought a sweet leaf for a friends birthday, looked great, square, but it sucked. the corners of the squares got gummed with resin after a while, you needed the wrist muscles of hercules to twist it. ecch.

friend has a small metal one with diamond shaped teeth, less than 1 inch diameter. great for carrying.

plastic ones always seemed to suck to me, and the cheap corner store metal ones as well.
