Libeccio's Pure AK, Bubblegummer (Female Seeds) & Amnesia (Vision Seeds)

Libeccio

Hi everyone,

here i am presenting to you all my indoor setup and my current indoor grow.

the setup is:
- 80x80x160 (cm) Homebox grow tent
- 200 W cfl (veg)
- 250 W hps (flo)
- lumatek dimmable ballast with superlumens
- 125 mm vents tt extractor fans
- biobizz soil light mix (start) all mix (from the first transpant)
- biobizz nutes: rootjuice, alg-a-mic, biogrow, biobloom and top max

i am growing pure ak and bubblegummer from female seeds and amnesia from vision seeds.

for each strain i have one plant in the 11 liters pot and another in the 6.5 liters one.
that is, 6 plants, 3 in 11 L pots, and 3 in 6.5 L pots.
i have done many experiments with pots sizes, trying to maximize my yeld. i have never done 6 plants from seed at the same time in the tent... we'll see if i would manage that crowd! :)

Now plants have been under 12/12 for 25 days, about 10 days/2 weeks since first real flowers.

AKs are really doing nice. very fast plant, very elegant structure, a pleasure for the eye; they both carry sativa and indica patterns, maybe leaning a little more towards their sativa heritage.
a couple of shots from 16 days of 12/12, they vegged for 4 weeks:

Bubblegummer is very different, featuring a strong indica/afgani structure: very short and bushy plant, broad leaves with round edges. love this shape!

here they are, 16 days of 12/12, they also vegged for 4 weeks, the smaller one a little less:

the small one presents some funny anomalies, such this: she topped herself - i havent't done anything and never saw this!

Amnesia is very different, very sativa plant and a pain in the ass for my small space! they stretched a lot, gainining 50 cms in one week!
yesterday i bent the biggest down because it was just necessary.
it is a risk to put in small space all these different plants... we'll see what happens! i am optimistic... just hope all this work would be rewarded! (i think it will... :))

here are amnesias at 16 days of 12/12:

today i will take some pics of the tall amnesia to show you the big stretch and how i bent that plant.
it is good they are not bushy so easier to bend.

here are a couple of amnesia's small flowers and a group shot (the plant in the foreground is the smaller amnesia), 25 days of 12/12:

so, i am quite satisfied so far.
stay tuned for something more interesting!
ciao!

small update, day 33 of 12/12.

Pure AK, smallest one. i'm really digging those 6,5 liters pots. it's the first time i use them for seed plants. i think i will do a grow only using 6.5 liters. more plants, more strains to try! :)

Ak's odour -as the description from female seeds says- has become very strong. very strong sweet/rotten smell. plus she's already a good resin producer... i can predict a stinky potent smoke! :)

(continue with bubblegummer pics...)

Bubblegummer, day 29 of 12/12.

and at day 33.

bubblegummer is starting to smell delicious. very sweet mid. flowering odour mixed with a piney tone. still not any big babol scent tho, but i've heard it's preatty uncommon. :)

Amnesias stretched like crazy, but it looks like they're finally done reaching up.
i bent the big one, she's found her place in that crowded micro-jungle!
at day 27 of 12/12, when she got bent:

and now at day 33:

the small one (6.5 liters pot), 1mt in height, is a very nice plant! i wish i could keep her in my living room... :) very elegant. she's on the front edge of the tent, but it looks like she's getting enough light, buds are developing.
small amnesia day 33:

overall looks like i'm gonna be fine with 6 plants in that small space.
at first i was afraid it was going to get way too crowded, but with an overstimated ventilation and air circulation, i think i'm gonna be fine.
another fear i had was to deal with 3 different strains in there, but i think that those differencies are actually helping me. i obviously need to raise most plants to get an even canopy, but the space in width is balanced beetween the short bushy bubblegummer and the tall amnesia.
sorry i don't know if i've explained myself; i'm smoking a very strong white widow from a friend guerrilla master.

ciao!

Nice, thanks for posting. Interested in Female Seeds, grew one of their X-lines a while ago and have C99 to grow next.

hey Saibai, thanks for your support!
I can only reccomend female seeds. so far i got a high germination rate, healty plants and a very effective and nice customer service.
they have some super-interesting strains. i think i am going for the C99 next, as well!
my next grow will be a little different.
i will be having space for some bonsai moms. i wanna pick a mom out of C99, Jack Flash (got those beans in the fridge) and maybe a OG Kush strain... suggestion for this last one?

thanks again!
ciao!

I have a question for anyone who grew bubblegummer.
this plant is so bushy, the foliage is so dense, that i was thinking about defoliating her a bit.

here she is at day 29 of 12/12, just to get an idea:

Now she looks even denser, i really feel that many buds are buried inside that dense foliage and don't get enough light.
normally i am against defoliation. i only pick some leaves in the last week or couple of weeks. starting from the very yellow ones; in the last days i normally remove all fan leaves gradually, mostly just to get them out of the way.
but i never remove still green leaves in veg or in the beginning of flowering. i have read someone do, i don't.
but i believe genetics play a substantial role in this thing and for some strains defoliation could be an option to consider.
so, you bubblegummer people: should i defoliate her or not?

Big (11L pot) Pure AK, 38 days of 12/12:

Pure AKs are real stinkers!
odour in that micro-compressed-jungle is preatty strong now...

Bubblegummer, 11L pot, 38 days of 12/12. i defoliated her yesterday which is something i never do, but her foliage is so dense i felt it was a smart thing to do... just took 3-4 fan leaves...

small flower...

the smaller BG is a weirdo plant... she self topped herself, 4 bladed leaves and stuff like that and also a couple of strange horizontal buds. i defoliated her a bit stronger and trained the 2 colas from selftopping and some lateral branches.
here she is day 38 of 12/12:

and amnesias, still day 38 of 12/12.
