it woud seem to me that this would be no easier than mixing a bunch of powders, but i bet its a hella lot cheaper to get the 50lb bags than the liquid

The botanicare rep is giving me a 5 gallon of each of these in the next month to try out as a tester on a large scale.. Honestly im a lil nervous of the results but am such a big botanicare fan Im going to have to give it a shot.

Definitely agree with you joe. running a custom formula with dry salts would be more accurate measuring grams per liter on a scale instead of trying to measure ml per liter in a cup , and you are paying for water .. 50lb bags of all of these salts can be bought for under 300$ and will last years for a modest sizes grow.

Who has room for several 50lb bags? Not Me...

Plus moister will seep into those bags....

Just had a dude at one of the stores in town tell me about this, he said they're trying to compete with Canna with this line

I think they stoped making it. The store gave me these for free. I use this to make my CAL/MAG and bud boost.

Looks like this just dropped in a 3 part formula, Base/Grow/Bloom.

Think I might go pick some up to see how it does.

Cropking out of Ohio sells 1 pound bags of Magnesium Sulfate and Potassium Nitrate.

Hydrogardens.com out of Colorado sells 25 pounds bags of Calcium Nitrate, 15 pound bags of Magnesium Sulfate and 5 pound boxes of both as well as several other fertilizer compounds and trace minerals.

vertigro.com out of Florida sells 2 pound bags of calcium nitrate.

I just don't see this as a competitive product when compared to raw salts. I do like the bare-bones label though. Pretty much just has the info you need to know, and a little "expert" in the corner to make you feel like a pro.

I'm sure it would be.

I would rather measure liquid. A 60mL syringe and a 500mL measuring cup is accurate enough for most applications. One less scale on the property too.

just picked this up from my local shop to try it out.

it is a 3 part as someone already said. the base is pretty much Nitrogen + Calcium 5% (6-0-0 NPK rating). the grow is 2-4-4, bloom is 0-6-6. both the grow & bloom formula has your magnesium, iron, and other micro nutrients so a Cal-Mag supplement shouldnt be needed.

biggest change here is that theyve used a lot of synthetic ingredients this time around compared to the pure blend pro line.
