Seedling Leaves Burning

What up yall. i have some seedlings that are about 10 days old. I have them in light warrior soil. I had the t5 about 8 inches above. I recently noticed the the tips of the younglings are looking a little brown, so now the t5 is about 18 inches high. I have been giving them just water. Am i doing something wrong? Thanks for the help.

I'm not a soil grower but I would say the burn is from the Nutrients in your soil mix.

Light Warrior is for seedlings and very light on the nutes and will not burn by it's self, might be they need some light nutes...

If you have used only LW and No Nutes to date is how I read it...

you should start over with new seeds that problem will only get worse ,and you need to get yourself at least 600w hps to veg with , they like the red spectrum in vegging , those t5s are for vfloweerr

I'll have to respectfully disagree, T5's will Rock It Good...

You see how close zzt's got his t-5's? I keep mine even closer. Like a inch(2.54cm) or 2 from the tops of plants. It won't burn put your hand under the lamps to convince yourself.

I disagree for several reasons,
If every time you have a minor problem you toss the grow you will never learn how to grow properly. Learning how to fix/avert problems is what will make your harvest continue to improve.

People have been doing very well without HPS for veg for years.

I think your plants are hungry, 10 days in LW and it's time for a good feeding, I also think you need to drop that light down to just inches away. If it's not too hot for your hand it's good for the plants. I keep my 400W at 12 inches from the top.
