First Time OutDro Adventure.

Been a while since i've done a grow, this isn't really a full grow just an experiment in outdoor growing at my new locale.

I decided to go organic since it was the easiest. soil mix is

2 parts composted manure (2x 40lb bag)
1 part rich black topsoil (1x 40lb bag)
1 part mushroom compost. (1x 40lb bag)
1 brick of coco (makes 6 quarts)
1 bag of perlite
2 cups bone meal
1 cup dolomite
i also added some banana leaves, some banana's and eggshells and coffee grounds and orange peels and shit like that to compost further, but the plant i grew was in the mix i listed before i added the waste scraps.

the plant was just some random bagseed from the local outdro they have for sale here.

we pick up out adventure at roughly 5 weeks from seed. outdoor here is always 12/12 all day err'day. this is why they have sexed and are only 5 inches tall. left side is the male, right side is the female. i didn't plan to pollinate the female, but i didn't kill the male in time and i ended up with a hand full of seeds.

lets call this week one of flower.

Week 2 of flower. I transplanted the female into this handy dandy EcoPot (patent pending) container i got at walmart. growing a little bit, but not as fast as indoor since it was like 80 degrees in the day and 60 at night during this time.

alright i'm back with 5 more pictures. where did i leave off?
week 3 flower. i topped the plant when i repotted it at flowering time. here's a couple quick shots i took that week. its cold now outside everynight down to 50, so stunted growth and nute lockout.

that's week 3 or so. it was prolly closer to week 6 flower but with the cold and the sun...it was week 3.

Week 4. took a couple shots outside in natural light. we see the flowers are coming in some, but that male i moved to t he other side of the yard popped balls before i could control the pollen collecting. we have some seeds for later now i guess.

alright i gotta go to work now. i hope to have more update for you really soon. surprises are in store. stay tuned. or not. whatevs, it's all good.

OK back again. week 5-6 or so of flower. still nothing special, it started getting warmer overnight again so now after however many weeks the buds are starting to grow. frosting early...or maybe not, it was stunted maybe it frosts late? all of these are somewhere between week 5 and week 7 flower.

if you look closely you can see the purple hues starting up on the surface of the leaves and buds. dunno if it's genetic or just deficiencies from all the cold nights.

back again, got a few minutes before i gotta go to work. week 7 or 9 of flower. or according to what i wrote on the folder...week 14? anyway this is a few weeks past the last post, i wasn't too good with taking pictures and keeping track of the times. anyway imma call it week 8 of flower.

nothing much going on from the last time i took pictures. then... a few days after i took those pictures...KABAMMM!

bitch turned purple on me. must be the temps i think since a naturally purple plant would gradually go purple and not suddenly overnight right?

finally we come to the last set of pictures i took week...end. or week 10 as i wrote on the folder. last pictures i took before the cat ate all the fan leaves off and i harvested.

the leaves all got a deep purple almost black, the buds started to turn purple also. i haven't tried any yet, still drying all 1 whole gram i expect to get out of it. be back later with smoke report and hopefully pics of reveg.

Like i said this wasn't a real grow grow, just a test of the outdoor climate here and my soil mix. so i wasn't really keeping good track of taking pictures, this holds true till the end where i didn't take any harvest or manicure or dry shots, cept this last bit of the top bud.

damn cat hair

smell was mildly kushy, that "purple" taste/smell. can't comment on the taste and smell too much as i was sick when i was smoking it and it all just tasted like smoke to my dead senses. hoping for a reveg so i can give it a proper growing. i got 2 seeds from the male pollinating it so there's also that. maybe something will come of it.

ooops double post. oh weezy might as well continue. i decided to try out some of the seeds i made last winter outdoors since they were made in the cold maybe they would tolerate it better than the "purple stuff". I have my goldilocks (R.I.P.) that i dusted with the pollen i got from my g13 male (gypsy's) i call it GiGi13.

I sprouted this many seeds.

this many survived the bugs and whatnot and made it to the transplant stage.

This guy wouldn't make it.

this guy either.

But these guys would. more on their miraculous journey after the break.

week 6 same drizzle, cept they show me sex now. one female, and one male. nice even 50/50 ratio.

Looking rly nice,i see a healthy plant!!!
Indeed there is some N def,but N may exist in your soil.
Check out PH levels.Wrong ph may keep N locked.
I see leafs got red stems too.Cold temps may be ur problem,not N def!!

WEEK 7 Flower...or So. ...

still hanging in there, i think more nitrogen during week 3,4,5 would have led to bigger flowers, but we're past that bridge and it is fully engulfed. moving along.

Boy finally opened some flowers and dumped a load of pollen. fucking hell such a slow long flowering male i hope it doesn't make the offspring even slower to ripen. maybe just a side effect of the cool weather?

anyway i'm sure some got on girl and i will have a couple GiGi13 (tentative name) f1 seeds to play around with. mom is dead, still got pollen from dad, maybe i can back cross? i'm new to breeding too. breeding on purpose anyway.

Girl. trichomes are still clear i guess, haven't really been looking that hard cept what i notice in the pictures after i take em. i was just gonna let it go till my seeds are ripe.

structure is mostly from the mom side with the pine cone shaped buds, the way they grow on the branch is from the g13 side.
