Starting with Chem Nutes and transplanting to Organics?!

SO I have a question, I've been considering starting some seeds indoor in coco coir, probably feeding them with veg chem nutes for a few weeks and then give a nice flush and transplanting them outdoors to a nice organics soil mix.

Would this work? Will the girls be stunned on the switch?

I love the roots that coco creates and I think it would be a solid foundation for a OD big plant.

If anyone has a better idea please let me know as well!

You can do it, just go easy on the chem salt fertilizers. Consider using diluted urine, just as bio-available, and as with chem salt-based nutes, it's important to observe appropriate dilution rates to see best results. I start at 10:1 water:urine. In coir it may need supplementation with Ca, possibly Mg and if growth is really explosive, N. Don't forget the utility of guanos, liquid and dry, and stuff like kelp extracts (go easy on kelp with coir, that extra K can really throw things off).

Using an interrupted photoperiod, or are you going to supplement light outside, or just let them flip once they're out?

Not in coir yet, but the next run will be supplemented with urine, absolutely. I say supplemented because I'm not sure I'll produce enough to keep them fed, especially after my experience using it for soil-grown ladies.

Maybe just grow it completely organically?
