hi mates
this is my first rapport and a little tribute to RSC crew.
nice job and thanks for so much nepalese goodies
tiphat.gif

the germination rate is not very high (20/36) and after
preselection there are only 13 plants left but the vigour is great.

now they are 2 weeks old and they grow in composana standard soil under 155W CFL, they feel very good :)

i think i have enough plants to found some nice parents for second generation.

i hope my english isn´t to bad and you understand me ^^

hi
thanks for your post.

RSC means The Real Seed Company and this malana cream is a heirloom landrace from india.

her you can get more informations
http://en.**********.eu/strain-info/Malana/The_Real_Seed_Company/

i found this on uk420 (2009)
Smoke repport:

Alright.....there have been 3 different phenos for sure. They all have there own unique aroma, high and taste.

Pheno 1: VERY grapefruit alike, and very potent. has a strong up party high that last very long. After you feel fresh, and not tired and used. NOT good for sleeping hehe. This is my favorit one. After 1 month curing the taste of this baby gonna be amazing i recon

Pheno 2: These 2 have a sent of pertrol/diesel or something similar. i do not like the taste of these 2 as for now, but maybe a good curing will make up for it. The potence of these are not to joke about. Extreme couchlock, and sometimes trippy effect. Perfect for video nights hehe. Also good for sleep in small doses. WARNING!!! be carefull if you get this pheno...if smoked to much, you will not get anything done all day

These 2 also have what i have come to call "BHO leafes". Wich i did becourse that the resins litteraly pop open on the leafes, and then the oil is all over....true " malana cream"

Pheno 3: This one have a very spicey taste..but also a little fruity can acure. A little mix of grape and red peper hehe. This one is nice for everyday use for me. Not to strong...realy happytimes smoke, and a greeat taste. i recon this pheno would be great as anti-depressive medicin.

greets :)

more informations about this strain

The Real Seed Company - Malana

Aka: Malana Cream
Region: Himalaya
Genetics: Pure Himalayan Charas Cultivar (Malana)
Latitude: 32°N
Harvest: end October to mid-November
Height: 3-4 meters in natural outdoor environment.
Yield: 1 to 2kg of dried flowers in natural outdoor environment.
Aroma: fruity mango; floral spices; sweet milk and toffee
Characteristics: hardy, vigorous strain; intensely aromatic and resinous
Grow Type: Greenhouse or Outdoors

This famous North Indian charas producing variety grows on the high sun-drenched ridges around the village of Malana, between the the valleys of Kullu and Parvati, at heights of between 2500 - 3000m. Intensely aromatic flowering tips gleam with trichomes and virtually drip with resin in later stages of flwering. Plants reach heights of over 3 metres and are vigorous and prolifically productive. First-rub charas is produced from these plants with intense care, and is soft and easily molded by warm hands. Aromas are reminiscent of overripe fruit, mango and malt, sometimes with scents similar to sickly-sweet traditional Indian milk confectionary. Consumed in moderation this strain gives an intensely bright, cerebral buzz which is very sociable and giddy; larger quantities produce a highly mind-altering psychedelic effect. This variety produces the Champagne of the cannabis resin market.
