Questions about 126 watt penetrater LED light

Hey there, I recently traded for an Led Panel. It's the 126 w penetrater I think its 1st gen. Im having a hard time finding any grows or info about this light.

I am looking for info like how old this thing is, it's footprint of coverage, actual wattage and if it's better suited for veg as I wanted to try flowering a few plants with it for an Led test.

My local shop can get ahold of Blackstar Led for a decent price was thinking of trying some of the higher wattage ones if this turns out well. I wanna see how much different the end product is with Led grown plants. Anyways thanks for any questions that can be answered.

I have 2 of the older models and use it for veg/seedlings/cutz...its a good lamp for those purpose and even decent results flowering under it. Scrog, sog or smaller trained plants work best. The coverage area isn't too much more than the size of the actual light. Close to 2x2' I think. Keep it at least 6-8" above canopy as the bright leds can burn or slow down the growth of plants if too close...work your way down lil by lil to see how the plants react is your best bet. If u want to see some grows using the first gen leds check verdant greens threads or the herbalizor who usedt he next size up lamp.

Thanks for the response man. I figured the coverage would be about the size of the panel but wasn't sure. I currently veg with t5's and clone with them as well. Using an Led light for clones and small plants seems cool but more interested in flowering with it. I'm sure it will get used down the road for those purposes. For now I will scrog 2-4 plants to see what this light is capable of. I usually run 600 watters, but really love the micro gardens and what small wattage lighting is capable of. Anyways, thanks again for the responses I will have a look at those guys' threads

I had one of these early penetrators. The fans were really loud, that's what I remember about them. My panel was rectangular and the coverage was some weird set of numbers like 18" x 30". The recommended height was 8" to 10". I've had so much trouble with lights being too close or too strong now I always start new lights 18" above the canopy and gradually lower them down.
