????? about the best ammendments...will this work

I’m growing in coir with ammendments…..30% perlite, 10% Black Kow composted manure, 5% worm castings, 2Tsp.lime/Gal.mix, 2Tsp.FoxFarm "Happy Frog" 8-2-6 lawnfertilizer/Gal.mix, 1Tsp.epsomsalt/Gal.mix,
For water….Tap/2 day letting it bubble…..adding the following nutes……
For nutes….2Tbs/Gal/Fish emulsion 5-1-1….1/8tsp Peter’s Bloom 10-30-20…..4 drops Superthrive….1/4tsp epsomsalt…..1/4tsp molasses, 4oz beer(for enzymes)….ALL ADDED TO 1 GALLON
I figure that this gives enough N, P and K plus extra needed supplements for an entire grow……take out the fish emulsion for bloom…..ammendments to coir should be close to depleted during bloom……….
Flush as needed……
Anyone familiar with anything close to this grow????
Am I overloading on the epsomsalt???
Thanks for any input………mightbestoned

Thanks for any and alll input.......mightbestoned

Hey bud
You've got a good mix going on. The only thing would be to drop some of the nitrogen rich nutes when your a few weeks into flower otherwise you will have too much nitrogen built up in flower which can cause fox tailing/airy buds that don't taste very good.
Never used beer in a mix but I'm interested to see what happens.

Smoooth,

Thanks....I am limited on posts
Tried a PM.........got any buddies to get me from tenbuzzillion posts????

No fish emulsion for bloom.....takes out some of the..N....
Sould I deplete N...totally????......or reduce it to near nothing??? ......
............2-30-10?????????????

Thanks...SMOOOTH.......
2N for bloom is what I was thinking..............

Mr.Fast.........Peter's is the only synthetic I'm using................works fine so far........really weak in my nute mix.......

Want to grow 100% organic....but coco-coir is difficult for a newbie to coir

SMOOOTH.............I've got some 400W HPS from a salvaged warehouse for $18 each........Can get about 50 of them +/-...........should I buy them all ?????......extra bulbs included..........I figure bulbs are worth it all.........120 or 240 switchable....

Thanks for all of your help....

When you see me.....Convo

Just so you know these warehouse fixtures usually run long, and hard hours.Unless there new I'd pass. You have no way of knowing the hours on these light's,and fixtures.

brick? bag? pre=rinsed?

very important w/ coir is calcium/"liming" probably a good idea to diversify the calcium amendments oyster shell and gypsum would be good considerations might minimize "need" for epsom salt

Hey
Generally most people say pure coco is best
I have never tried to mix anything into my coco, but a friend mixed his coco with perlite (which he got from me) and reported later that the perlite causes a much higher ph than his pure coco.
He had to flush it with a few liters of nutrient solution to bring it down again.
I guess it was his fault tho because he didnt wash the perlite before use.

Flushed the coir 4x...... run off PH at 6-6.5......test strips.......no real accuracy.....this was after adding a few of the amendments..........water PH at 6.5.........Nute added after citric acid down..5.5-6.0 PH.........Don't want to lock out or kill my little girls....I'm only using 1/4 strength plus the coir adds.......seems to be doing fine for now.......any good grow advise with CFL plus Fluorescent tubes is welcomed......trying to make any easy cheap grow.....

I am also interested in aendig coco, having used coco to grow cover crops, wildflowers and Salad veggies.

I wonder how you arrived at the ratios of 2 tsp a gallon for the epsoma lime, and happy frog fert's? does this work out for you?
