Right, smoking lower dosis less frequently is the way to stay high at all times.

I never understood where the hype of needing strong strains is all about.

Maybe it's the tendency of ppl wanting to believe more is always better ?

If you smoke much, you will just be wacked out. If you smoke disciplined, you'll be feeling good at all times, provided you manage to lay your hands on something balanced.

I've been smoking Diesel ryder since the day it appeared first on the market and I still like to rate it highest on my list of any strain ever having come my way.

I guess it just depends on what your expectations are.

If you need some party drug thats giving you the heftyest experience ever? Don't smoke weed at all, rather head for something chemical comming from some dodgy lab.

You wanna feel just fine? Then better refrain from superstrong weed but learn how balanced weed is supposed to make ya feel when going about it more disciplined.

Super strong weed is imvh opinion just hype shit with no substance to it.

Gimme a jar of dank, or gimme a jar with Dieselryder, I'd be taking the latter. Tyvm.

Sorry but I smoke the highest quality hashish I can find daily now for the last 4 years, I don't believe more is always better. But I do believe quality over quantity and look for clean potent things.

You may be right about staying high in the long run(by age 50 or whatever) but I am just focusing on staying AHAP(as high as possible) right now while also sparing my lungs as much harm as possible, clean well made ice water extract that have been dried correctly seem to be the best bet for health.

As for
If you smoke much, you will just be wacked out.
This is a common fallacy, you see, you can never smoke to much THC:dance013: :dance013: :dance013: :dance013:

Call me wacked out, I am fucking stoned as balls!!!!

Quote Juice puddle: This is a common fallacy, you see, you can never smoke to much THC. end quote.

Certain ppl incl myself tend to vomit when faced with an occasional 'strong strain' THC overdose, unless I smoke it on a daily basis and achieve 'tolerance'.

I think of weed a bit the same as would be chilli peppers.
It's in no way toxic at all, but it makes one believe it is. Hence the 'vomit' response.

Are you still able to function and get your daily chores done while 'stoned as balls', or do you seem to be dreading doing those things when 'stoned as balls' and better wait for more sober moments to get shit done?

I know that people often smoke incorrect and can induce vomit like feelings from swallowing smoke / air while inhaling.

However you and I are on opposite sides of the tolerance wall haha(My tollerance is insanely high) so maybe it is possible for a really hard hitting strain to induce a vomit effect on a low tolerance user.

Exactly, and I think I started this thread to promote this opposite side.

Yeah but for what reason?

Because your "to whacked out" if you "smoke to much"

Bullshit.

Smoke as much as you want all day, as long as its grown right / extracted right.

All depends on the cannabinoid profile.

Sometimes I feel like getting high as fuck, sometimes I just want to chill.

Quote JP, Yeah but for what reason? End quote.

Because I am fed up with hype.

I am also fed up with the need to produce super strong strains that merely remind me of 'party drugs' for the illegal market.
I would rather like to promote 'healing' herbs with healing cannabinoid profiles to ppl that just would like to be able to function normally.

Guys are always on the lookout for the latest trend on cannabis with their main goal beeing to become as fucked as possible for as long as possible.
Like that's somehow a good thing?

I'd rather like to get back to common sense, sensibility, and a way to use cannabis medicinally, other then plain getting off this world for as long as possible.

A strain like Diesel ryder that seems to work wonderfully to completely eleminate my manic episodes 'while still alowing me to function normally, usually becomes completely bashed by mainstream tokers as weak and inferior to anything else. Hell, why are we even keeping a shit strain like that alive anyhows I'm wondering. (sarcasm off)

Makes me wonder how many other strains with interesting cannabinoid profiles are beeing 'under prioritised' and eleminated from breeding, simply because the 'market' tends to prioritise 'strong-stuff-only' & tends to needing to facilitate ppl that mostly like to be 'wacked out' most of the time.

Or have been made believe by hype & trendyness that that's the right thing to do these days?

I am sorry but this is a contradiction. Don't grow strong strains, but you still want all the healing properties???? Sorry but the stronger the strain, the more healing properties period.

You see, your, "need to operate normally", has nothing to do with the medical quality of the herb. In other words, the higher the THC/CBD percent, the better, even if you get so high you can't "operate normally"

What like operate machinery or something?

@ Mintz. eheh, I'm realy Offthehook, gettit? But yeh, laughter must be so having a goodin at my expenses surely won't hurt.

@JP, that would be depending on the type of decease you wish to use it for.

If you got heavy fysical neuroleptic problems, you would like to have an as strong as possible strain to be used on an intense daily basis while develloping a tolerance to it in order to move on with your life.

If you got any of the add, adhd, or light autistic/schisofrenic features, something less strong might prolly work out better for you. Cannabinoid profiles in the lower concentrations will be more importend to these ppl as just an as high as possible thc/cbd (and what not) ratio.

Title of thread is "TOKER for 26 years"

not MEDICAL USER

If someone has medical issues that require a weak strain, they can easily find it EVERYWHERE, known as SHWAG LOL

@ JP, I'm sure not too many 'cartel growers' are having a vested interest in usefull/medicinal cannabinoid profiles.

quote JP : Title of thread is "TOKER for 26 years" end quote. Elaboration> Of wich the last 4 years have been merely medicinal.

Yo Mintz, what about heading for the jokers thread? I originally planned on keeping thisone somewhat serious.

If it's not too much to ask?

Off the Hook, my bad I neg repped you by mistake.

I totally agree that choice of method equals results desired.

Reminds me of a this:
Two bulls came upon a valley full of cows and the young bull declared 'lets run over there and fuck us one of them cows'. The old bull chuckled lightly and replied 'Lets walk on over there and fuck them all'.

Yup.

@Gloryoskie, No worries mate, I'm already happy that a thread as unpopular as this even made it this far, eheh, :D Glad to see you backing me up. I sincerely hope your reputation won't have to suffer because of this now. :) flmao

Never got the point behind your anecdote though??? mind putting it in different words?

Maybe I'd get the point if you'd reverse the age of the bulls; Where I'm from it's usually the younger guys that want to smoke more then they can handle. ^^

Glad you asked Spindlywicket. That just TOTALLY does not seem to work when all the beneficial cbd/thc ratio's in popular marketed strains seem to be off by a mile and a half.

Looks like original/natural concentration to ratio also plays a part.

I mean, how concentrated need C-profiles become in order to remain competeble with the next generations newest super concentrated weed ever? And to what avail? better medicine? to who?

Do breeders need to place the potency of their strains as their highest priority?

Even though they simultaniously eradicate propherties that made the strain a cup winner in the first place?

I think it will be greatly marketeble on the streets as the next best thing to happen to everyone who's into hype & getting wacked out, but the original cup was won because of a large number of ppl that decided to pick the strain for reasons other than plain strength/potency.

Offthehook,

Simply put, the younger bull would rush into it and have one shot at one cow. Boom, done.

The older, more knowledgeable bull would pace himself and go at it all day.

In my experience, smoking a little of a killer strain is less expanding than a full dose of "lesser" strain. Profiles matter here.

When I test a new strain I smoke through until I feel what's going on. Always in a familiar
surroundings with the presence of mind about what's possible.

I don't offer my sativa stash to anyone without their full understanding about what's about to happen to them.

Fuck yeah.
