Oh if anyone has experience with Alfalfa meal in tea form as a foliar I would appreciate a little advice on the dilution ratio. I have been warned that this could burn them so without any direction I'll just have to do a bit of a trial.

Week 5 Flowering

Topdressed all plants with EWC

Mulched 1-2 wk GC's with extra large perlite chunks. Plan to use lava rock/rice hulls for aeration from now on. Also going to try other mulches including living mulch on next run.

Not much for bottled nutes lately. Everything has gotten Kelp, alfalfa,FPJ, EWC, and compost as a tea in various combos.

Foliar applications; Alfalfa foliar on 1-2 week GC's. To Everything: Neem oil a few days back and then a rinse down. Then a day later I applied a generous spray of ,Aloe Vera Juice (Homemade)@~1/4 cup, Pro-Tekt @ 1/4 tspn, and mixed FPJ @ <1tspn in one gallon Tap Water.

I plan on making an enzyme drench from some sprouts soon, will update again next week! Here's some pics!

Here's the one that I use - adjust quantities for your needs

5 gallons of clear water
1 cup of alfalfa meal
1/4 cup of kelp meal - not seaweed extract powder

You can let this sit and stir it with a stick from time to time for a couple of days. You can also pick-up a cheap air pump at Walmart, PetSmart, etc. - go cheap because that's all you need.

The air pump and airstone will bounce the materials around giving you more of 'the things' you're wanting.

This can be applied full-strength to the soil and cut this tea 1:1 with water (i.e. 50% strength) for foliar sprays.

That's it!

Hey there! thanks for the info once again CC! I have everything I need already so I can mix up a proper batch when I get home.

I remembered the 1/4 cup Kelp/5gal from the ROLS thread but wasn't sure on the Alfalfa. I diluted it too much in my previous use but better safe than sorry.

.Garden Update: Beginning of Week 7 Flower

Things are looking amazing right now, I have never grown the Guava Chem this big before but the buds are so chunky and wonderful looking with that great Sweet/Chemminess...

I have been continuing to use only alfalfa meal/kelp meal teas, compost teas, and fermented plant extracts. I used one sprout enzyme tea and I think it has helped bulk up the buds but it is hard to tell for various reasons. I will say I have never seen this strain swell up like this before in my grow room.

Trichs are looking clear turning cloudy, so its right on schedule for a 9 week harvest. Here are the pics...

Tacoma hows that corey cut comin along my friend? damn i want that cut bad

Looking good man! Blew me away how quickly these finished, just 2 days later than my C99. I just pulled the guava yesterday, have a road trip coming up at the end of the month and they needed to get to drying! I must say this is the stinkiest, gooiest strain I've ever encountered. I had to put an ONA Gel odor absorber in my front doorway so when I come and go the neighbors don't get a nice whiff of chem stank.

Looking like your new year will be very nice! Take care!

Thanks for droppin by Kaos! i expect to get over double my previous yields just by looking at the plants. I might end up pulling around 8wks if the trichs look good, like you said I have found her to be a pretty fast finisher.
Good to hear to cropped your GC in! Hopefully you will have some excellent Guava Chem for your road trip, should you choose to be holdin' on said trip!

Here we are at 8 weeks into flower! Getting very excited for chop but am going to give them another week or so. The trichs are about 10% amber and clear each with the rest looking pretty milky.

I have continued using compost/microbe teas, homemade FPJ's, aloe juice, Pro-tekt, Kelp, Alfalfa meal, and a slight amount of leftover fish emulsion as a soil drench and (diluted) as a foliar spray. I also continue to use neem oil every 5 days or so.

After the chop this soil will be remixed with kelp meal, crabshell meal, neem meal, some aeration component and glacial rock dust. Then after a "cooking" period they will be the start of my no till project. The soil will be reused for multiple generations until in my opinion it needs re-amending. I also plan to use white dutch clover as a living mulch at that point in the future.

For now here are the girls;

Not sure why my pics won't come up, I was at a friend's house the other day and we could see them fine. Are all of my pics not showing or just the newest posts?

Thanks man appreciate the kind words...
The trimming isn't too bad on this one but there are a lot of leaves in annoying places.

Just a mini update here:

Everything is going well. There will likely end up being around 10-12 oz of Guava and around 1 oz of Agent Orange (personal). I have already trimmed around 6 ounces and am about half way through. A little leafy but absolutely covered in trichs.

The next harvest will be around the first week of February (5 x 10g fabric squat pots, 1x Lemon Skunk and 1 x Sour Kush.) They are budding up very densely but I am thinking the plants really like the extra "leg room" in the taller plastic pots. It's hard to tell until I can directly compare the yeilds and such after the february harvest.

After that group there are 3x Guava Chem in 15 gallon plastic pots, 3x Purple Magic #3 Pheno in one 15g pot, 2 x Purple Magic Pheno #4 (Grape Candy) in one 10g pot, and 1 Blackberry Kush in a 10g fabric pot. Never tried the multiple plants in 1 pot and needed to clear some room, while doing a final test between the 2 Purple Magic's that I have.

The soil from the harvested group was put into 2 x 50g plastic totes, and mixed with Neem Meal (The Ahimsa Alternative), Crabshell Meal (Neptune's Harvest), Kelp Meal (Algamin), Azomite, and Fish Meal (Doctor Earth). I would like to also add rice hulls at transplant time for aeration now that I have a source (localish beer making store,) and would like more trace elements like glacial rock dust as well.

This mix will be allowed to rest until its transplant time for the next round; 4 x Guava Chem and 2 x Strawberry Diesel IX (Fractal Genetics) from clone.

Thanks for reading, I'll try and get some bud/trich and new pics up in the next day or so.
