Greetings,

I'm trying to put things together for a soil/soilless grow. Mom's suffering from cancer and I wanna make some oil to help relieve her symptoms. She's suffering terribly. I need advice on nutrients for an indoor grow. I'm considering using a soilless mixture with some organic amendments. I mainly need advice on some simple nutrients for veg and flower. There's so many on the market and I have no idea how much or what I need. Considered Fox Farm. I'm on a budget, but I'm hoping for two pounds and four ounces of oil. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I am trying out a hempy bucket next to dirt on my next go. I guess it is passive hydro since you hand water/feed, but I am using the GH Flora series, which is pretty popular for non-soil mediums. It's pretty simple or I would not be trying it and if it works as well as they say, I may not do dirt anymore. Do a search for hempy bucket if you're not familiar, it's interesting.

Hemperfi, I would read the organics for beginners thread and the living soil thread in the stickies. Organics is the way to go for serious medicine but it does take some time to get going. Both threads have soil recipes on the first pages. Pick one, get the stuff, and get going. we can help as things come up....best of luck.....scrappy

@ H.H.

There are no "real" answers, as there are no "real" problems.

Are you trying to be a dick, or just being philosophical? I can't tell. But Cancer seems like a real problem. With all the bullshit information out there that HEMPERFI is likely to encounter at the grow store and from un-educated growers... I'd say he requires some "real" answers.

Hemper - Please read up before you jump in... as they say, you want to sharpen the ax before you attempt to cut the tree down.

I also think that you were trying to say 2lbs of cannabis that you could hopefully turn into 4 ounces of oil?

I would also hope that there is a well educated organic caregiver in your area that can help you hands on with product and knowledge.... Good luck!

We all go through cancer. It's not a laughing matter. I don't know why anybody would take it that way.
Let me rephrase. There are no answers when growing, only methods. It really isn't that hard. There is plenty of information all over the forum, yet every other day somebody wants to know whats in the stickies with out reading them.
Building soil to potentially grow to potentially make oil is a very long way around acquiring pain relief. Find a doctor or a dealer.

Why find a doctor or a dealer? Is that what you do? He wants to take care of it himself and is asking for some assistance to do so.

Many folks garden for pain relief. I don't get the "find a dealer" advice.

If I had a friend in need and no weed...sure.

Are you looking for a water only soil mix? What's your current knowledge base? Sure, you can do it yourself organically and save money if you have the time to learn and read. Otherwise, I would consider buying a commercial product rather than trying to throw something together really fast without any experience.

Where are you at in the country?

This is good advice

Looking for cannabis? Clean and useable for medical purposes? I highly recommend the K.I.S.S. method. Here's the thread.

Rinse your perlite dust off.

Use 5g/gallon of MB to start with (it's 12$ for 2.2lbs... pretty cheap)

Taper off your nutes before flowering is finished and use plain water for the last 2-3 weeks.

Clean. Good. Potent. Medicine. Cheap and quick.

4lbs? I'd go with 3 1000w lights... give yourself a margin of error.

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:
