HOME GROWN STRAINS Vs DISPENSARY STRAINS

Hi was just wondering how people who live in states or country's that have decriminalised weed go about getting their weed do you buy from the dispensary or is the quality better still if you grow it yourselves. I see on the Internet how they do things in California and the weed they sell in those stores looks great far better than what we can get on the streets here. But is it still better than what you can grow yourself. Cheers.

All of those dispensary strains started as a seed at one point, so no, it's not any better than anything you can POTENTIALLY grow.

You do need some skills and good genetics to start with though.

Most dispensaries I've visited in Vancouver have good-to-great bud for between $10 to $13 per gram as well as having popcorn-to-mid grade buds costing between $3 to $9 per gram.

The cost of buying good bud in reasonable quantities seems prohibitive for the average person.

In my opinion, if one is able to grow their own, the benefits speak for themselves through quality control, quantities that can be on hand, therapeutic effects from the gardening itself and an overall sense of accomplishment.

The thing about grow your own is you know what went into the grow and like what Welder Dan said, they were all seed at some point. Start with good seed and a solid grow regimen and you'll produce cannabis as good as anything you can buy.

Around here the dispensarys sell mostly crap. Around here the black market is mostly (almost 100%) crap. Around here... you're much better off growing your own, if you know how.

Cannabis is something you like? Cannabis is something you see yourself using for some years to come? Learn to grow... you can do it nearly anywhere and you will thank yourself for years and years for doing it.

HOMEGROWN!!!! for the WIN!!! you cannot beat homegrown medicine. you can find a strain you like and grow that or do a variety if you like that kind of thing. Also you know what goes into your plant and spent the time on it so you will enjoy it more and have a better aprectiation for the plant overall.

i dont really like to smoke hydro bud or any bud that used chem nutes, i just hate the harshness i dont care how long u flush u cant fix it.

i do smoke a lot of chemmy bud though just cuz i wanna smoke so top notch og kush and with these commercial growers, good organic og aint easy to find.

so growing my own, i can smoke the best og's and theyre 100% organically grown.. i can take giant bong rips of the tastiest cleanest weed and still get the expansion on the exhale.. its the harshness on the inhale thats from the chemmy hydro shit. i love the way organic bud hits. and the high is even cleaner

so i enjoy smoking my own but for certain strains especially og's ill still go buy an 8th here and there even when i have pounds of my own.

If you want to smoke long flowering sativas, you have to grow your own. What do you think a 24 week pure columbian would cost in a dispensary? That is, if anyone would be willing to sell itfor any price...

you get some great some ok it is hit or miss here in Bay Area dispensaries it is better to grow your own buy it occasionally when something good comes around like gsc or cherry pie etc

All things equal homegrown will be better.. If you have the same strain, dialed in, in perfect growing conditions yours will be better then the dispensaries.. It's easy to grow shitty weed but it takes knowledge, time, and resources to grow great weed.

agreed.. that most home grown is better.. but dont go thinking just cause u spend the money on equipment and seeds that u will grow better buds right off the bat then ur smoking from ur connection whoever it may be..

but.. u will need to take time and effort to create something that u could smoke with others and be extremely proud of. just dont go into this thinking o its going to be better cuz i grew it .. it may be better it may be worse. but after u get the hang of what ur doing.. i think ull have just as good if not better buds.. the info is here.. so keep reading and u can grow some sick nugs

Most all of the bud in dispensaries are homegrown, by someone. Generally growers will take their buds to the cłubs. Not that far away from the center if u ask me.

When the dispensaries get the weed some of them shake the trichomes off. I live in LA & I do not see anything worth smoking @ the clubs...

I would have to say that any bud "you" grow is going to be better than anything you can buy. I think this because the joy of growing a bud from seed to finish is the best high in its self.

I have supplied a despensiry, and I would never kief my buds. I doubt the club is going to take the time to do it either. I'm not saying all clubs, but least the few I have dealt with.
