Coco+pebbles Autopot, problem!

Hi!

This is my first post and not shure if im even posting in the right section.

I´m growing indoor in a stealthy kind of environment and it´s the first time with coco (coco 60% - pebbles 40) and autopots. Used soil earlier.
The strain is actually not totally known, all i know is that its an Haze (dont know what kind) that is said to have been crossed with NL. I have 72 plants in about 10 m2, its the 8,5 litre containers.
The plants are growing real bushy when you compare to when i was using soil. I grew sog-style in soil with far more plants that became a lot smaller. It went in 12/12 5 weeks ago now directly from clone.

So to the problems (they always appear it seems), for about 8 days they have been fed with about 14 celsius water, maybe even lower, and it has become way to cold in the pots. Why the grow hasn´t been overlooked properly during this time is maybe not so interesting :wallbash:

Now they seem to have been slowing down in the flowering process.
The problem is solved now and the water is well tempered again.
Now how bad is this for the plants, can they recover the damage for those days?

The plants are looking very healthy thou but flowering have been slow.

Using powder feed (mostly sativa) from greenhouse seed and I´m now in the end of week 5.
I want an addative to gain as much as possible that might have been lost for the past days. Now i feel that i will fuck it up if i dont ask cause the NPK-magic is honestly a bit confusing for me.

I got some pics aswell from about a week ago:

Talking to myself but small update on addatives anyways.
Went for Gold Label ultra PK
Also added Biobizz´s Topmax. Last thing added is a root stimulator for the damage on the roots (might not be so big damage but anyways)

Hello Sir!

I think its good, about 40-45 now... Think its the cold, I hope it will work hard the last weeks.
Anyone with setbacks that had ok results anyways?

What's the room temp? If you've solved your water temp problems, be sure the room temp is no lower than, say, 18C, 21 would be better. Low room or soil temps slow plant metabolism. Good luck. -granger

Thanks Granger!

The roomtemp is also good, i keep it at 25 -27..
Why the temp in the water got so low is because of a broken waterheater. So the coco got real cold...
Do you have any experience of grows that have had setbacks and managed to get allright anyway?

Peace!

I had some set backs in my last autopot coco grow (coco/perlite 60/40 heard it works best this way) and my results were pretty terrible. I only got .6 gram per watt as last time I got 1 gram per watt. (lots of little set backs along the way due to using new nutes and new setup etc.)

If your humidity is about 50% and your temps about 25-27 Celsius and you're getting lots of fresh air (or CO2 supplement) and lots of good light (which looks like you got) then you should be find for environmental.

Your water temps should be 18-21 Celsius in your res for best oxigen saturation and pathogen resistance.

After that the next thing to concentrate on is your nutrients. check out ha3d goes coco thread on here and learn to use the cana stats calculators and read up about nutrient profiles and cation exchange capacity.

Thank you Illicit.
While running in the same place in soil with Biobizz nutes I got about .7/w ..
This was suppoused to be an upgrade to get it better. But still its the first run in this setup and i wouldnt drop my hobby for a setback or 2 :) .
I´m not going to use those nutes as in this run, thank you for tips about thread, gonna read up.

Going for another strain next time aswell...
I´ll try to update in a couple of days..

Peace!

Do I have experience with grows that have had set backs? You could say that. lol My experience [experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted] is that if you correct the problem, and keep them healthy, they'll come back. I've had a crop that was nearly devastated by Root Aphids that came back and made a big sweet crop. I think your set back is in the small bump in the road category. You should be able to get a fine crop. Good luck. -granger

Small update.

The growth in the autopots let the plants grow twice as big compared to soil.
The results are way too long plants and the net used to keep em down came in too late. The light cant reach through the canopy cause of the light, so this is not a good run.

All pain - no gain = new strain!

One more Q: Do you recycle your coco? And if you do, do you need to clean all old roots out? - there are alot!
