Electroculture - cloning with pv cells

My excitement for growing was revived when I started reading posts on abnormal growing techniques (electro culture, electromagnets, audible and ultrasound, etc) and I couldn't resist digging into storage to get out all my old supplies.

Here we have 6 "blueberry" clones in a cloning tray. 3 are hooked up in series to a 3v solar panel that I removed from a solar powered garden light. From what i've witnessed on a couple DWC plants hooked up to these, i'm very optimistic.

Inspired by this discussion: http://forum.**********.com/advanced-******l

In the DWC hookups, the bare wires were inserted into the Root Riot starter cubes and sometime within 24 hours, the ~22g wire completely eroded. To solve this, I broke the prongs off some stainless steel forks and soldered then to the wire/panel setup.

have you used a meter to check if the circuit is actually complete going through those rapid rooters? keep at it, thanks for the thread.

gPG,

If the wire was eroded then the circuit is complete. The erosion is the result of current oxidizing the copper. Using stainless steel will slow the process down but the same thing is happening, in time it too will erode. I hope you find some interesting effects.
