New York is expensive for everything so don't let that fool you. Plus it's black market pricing there still. This stuff seems to make almost everyones top 5, especially after trying it a few times, so I could see it selling that high there especially if it is trending. This cut originated from NYC also BTW.

It's also a pretty rare clone only so if you know the 1-2 guys that have it near you and you really want it I'm sure they are aware of that also... a la $600/oz.

Yeah she is a bushy girl for sure, lol. Great for limited verticle space, but a bitch limited horizontal. I supercrop the hell out of her but I dont generally top after I upgrade to 5-10gal pots, not that it would necessarily hurt anything.
I haven't ever done a SOG or SCROG before but it would be interesting to see how it goes could work very well because of the crazy horizontal branching.

Ouzo - I feel this girl needs more of the lower foliage taken out of the picture than topping, I was amazed at only having to top 2-3 times during the extended veg the big girl got. Since vertical space is my only real constraint in veg and flower (more so in veg) this will be an easy girl to keep around. Thanks for the input as always, looking forward to seeing your guava's progress as well!

KW - Killer my man! Thanks for the kind words, it means a lot bro! Your Mos Cutty gear looks like it treated you well, awesome to see. I've got some babies right now, getting excited to start a journal on them! Stay up!

Got a few pictures snapped of the big Guava a few days ago. 42 days in, and starting to bulk up! She definitely looks to be a quick finisher so far, thinking of taking a smaller one down around 55-56 days to see how it ends up. I won't be running her again until this summer, but I look forward to doing a monocrop eventually as she's definitely worth it. My life has been hectic, stressful and certainly unpredictable in the last few months, and all things considered I think the girls are doing very well with the amount of care I've been able to give them as of late. Definitely smelling amazing!
On to the girl!

So far GC seems to really dig my Floranova feedings, and I think I may up the dosage a little bit next time around to see how they can take it.

Anyway, I'm about to relax with a joint of strawberry diesel and listen to some tunes. Until next time friends!

55 days should be fine. I was impatient and had spidermites up the wazoo in my first grow of this and chopped at just over 7 weeks and was not disappointed. BTW that was only for personal use, lol.

Be careful pushing the nutes on this girl. Every time I tried she suffered...tip burn and leaf damage/necrosis. If you do decide to try it I'd go really slow, like using 25% increases in PPM, or less, wait a week or so and if no damage is done,up the dose by the same amount.

I don't use PH or PPM meters so I couldn't tell you where to start other than my previous recommendation. But best of luck to ya, if you can get King Kong size nugs off this girl I'd love to see it!

Interesting... I run a light regimen to begin with as my strawberry diesel improved 100% by cutting my original feeding in half. I'm feeding the same formula to my C99 which are showing a few burnt tips here, Guava looks fine for the most part.

I know she's not going to be a huge yielder but I still plan to fill the tent with her eventually! Such awesome herb.

It could be the nutes I was giving at the time or just plain inexperience too. Don't let my findings get in the way of experimentation, lol.

Bump, been a while. I pulled a good batch of Guava down and didn't get pics as I was in a hurry but I'll get some dry shots up soon enough. I'd like to show off the progress of the first small test grow of my Guava x C99! Really excited, as they show a lot of the characteristics of the Guava (especially in the terpene/resin department) and the more guava structured pheno has distinct pineapple notes. I have a good amount of seeds left, and a bit of pollen (kicking myself for letting that male go) but I might do another little pollination on the guava. I wanted to get them tested a little bit before passing many out to friends, (already handed some to close pals with a warning that they none had been popped yet). I'd like to drop a a few different pollens on the guava, the hybrid vigor C99 brought to the mix is much needed, as guava clones and vegetates very slowly and is hard to keep in my regular rotation. It's premature to say since I've only gotten 2 females, but the Guava appears to breed true which is a treat to see so far.

All photos are day 27 bloom in .5 gallon promix containers. We call her UpDawg, lol.

#3 Cindy structure, chemmy, sour fruity stink. This one started resin development very early in life and stretch is minimal, just like both parent plants.

#4 The female who was a little stressed with the death/removal of her brother from the container, but looking good and smelling even better! So far I'm loving this earthy, pineapple tennis ball funk she's got going on. Something to look forward to for sure! She grows like her mother; short and squat, tight internodes and that unmistakeable stardawg "star" leaf.

The way these have filled out in 27 days leaves no doubt in my mind that the fast-finishing nature of the parentage came through, though only a few weeks time will tell. Anyway, time to puff and go outside! Stay up!

^Good to see you back. Looking forward to your new threads brother!

Puffin guava right now, out of 3 heavy indicas I keep in rotation this one is the only one to render me near sleep after one bowl. That taste makes me want to puff it all day though! Trying everything I can to maximize her yield but she's a stingy one.

Well, this thread seemingly died lol. I had to put guava on the sidelines for a bit but have been throwing one into each run as of late. I believe I have her dialed in pretty well, as she was a tricky one to figure out. She's frustratingly bushy and hard to fit in with any other strain canopy-wise but the smoke makes it all worth the time. Just harvested another and unfortunately sidelining her again for a cycle or two. The potency is still such that a small amount holds me over in the meantime.

I will continue to search through my Guava crosses and possibly make a few more down the line as she's shown to be a great mother! A good friend crossed his Ghost Train Haze #1 male to her and gifted some seeds to me. Those are still little seedlings but I'll be documenting them for his sake once things start to take off. Another friend F2'd my Guava x C99BX and that should show some great promise as well. Lots of Guava happenings in the garden!

Still figuring out macro settings, bear with me! Both 2 month cure.

Guava has taken such an earthy finish on the exhale that its like taking a bite of dirt (in the best way possible!) I loved this cut before I had it dialed in and nowadays the flavor can't be beat.

Her flavor really shines through in the C99 cross too, completely unexpected to the smoker as when you open the jar you're hit in the face with the smell of pineapple. The C99 also made the high a bit more functional and less like a sleep aid, though it does tend to make you lose your train of thought incredibly easily!

Anyway, I'm out. More updates to come!

Guava looks dank homie! Wish I could get a taste over here! Doing a run of mostly sour D right now, about to flip em in a weeks time. Got a new thread up in Grow Diaries, stop through and check it out. Hope to keep things building over the next few months here if everything pans out. Hope your well brother!
