Gavita Lep 1+ 2x 600w cooltubes

Hi all long time no see, i been a bit quite latley para gets me sometimes,

anyway i started a little grow with the LEP 300w and x2 cool tubes running on the 600w lumitek adjustable ballasts,
i hope to get near the other chaps yields but doubt it as i only vegged for 2 weeks

i used 17 cuttings from exodus cheese ghs from my last grow,
my grow space is pretty low so i thought i would do more plants less veg and at the same time i have been vegging i was growing some auto pink salads at the side from secret garden seeds, hope mitch reads this!

i am in loft/attic space and got the temps spot on, i am using soil in 6.5 l pots for 15 , plus i made a home made bubbiler that has 2 plants in it, very simple but seems also very effictive, a plasic storage box 67 litre size i just cut 2 small holes in top for the net pots and have in there 2 small air pumps that i was not using from a wilma system, also fish tank water heater,
the plants in the bubbiler are fed on canna aqua and the soil plants are on plant magic soil then bloom

i switched to 12 on the 7th nov, heres some pictures, the flowering are the autos, just a tester to be honest,

i am hoping to get minimum of 1k off this grow and to learn how good the lep really is, i must say i am very impressed so far as the girls the furthest away on either side were reaching for the light from the lep rather then straight up where the hps bulb was, they really love the lep,
the first 4 pictures are from the first week of flipping,
the last 3 pics are a week later
i am not topping any of them , the ones in the bubbiler i have tyied down a bit i am trying to keep them level ish'

i want to see how a mono crop yeilds, i looking forward to any advice comments you like to give, cheers all

extraction a 6" and passive intake, i got a bottle of co2 but dont wanna go fill it up while i am growing, i to para if im seen bringing the fucker in my house!

2 weeks into flower

2 weeks into flower

Its been 2 weeks into 12/12, heres a couple of pictures,

i have 2 girls in the home made bubbiler, as a side by side experiment by me for me, the growth is massive compared to my girls in soil, the stems in the hydro are thick as clipper lighters and they are bushy with many more bud sites, the ones in soil have pencil thickness stems with only a small amount of budsites,
i am happy with progress so far

I should of made a separate post about SGS secret garden seeds, i shall at some point, i cracked some of their pink salad seeds and must say i am more then pleased with the results from there plants , they are awesome looking beauties, they are ready to come down i am just flushing there is a pic or 2 of them here at the end, i only got a pic fone:tiphat:

Cool little grow dude.. what nutes you using for your little hydros?

if you only got a pic phone, try taking the pics with the HPS off and a lamp close to the plants. It will bring out the natural color,, or take them out and put them on a table that gets direct sunlight through a window shining on the plants... anyway just some suggestions for good pics with a phone.

Great work, Now you need to try my OGRE! you will love her!

HI chaps,
I am using canna aqua for the mino hydro and plant magic soil bloom for other,
here is a couple of pictures of your pink salads, i didnt give these girls there full course as i switched to 12/12 when the PS were around 40-50 days old! they are pretty much ready i have been flushing them but they are lovely and juicey and look good enough to eat for sure!

As for the effects of the hydro, well see for yourself, i cannot believe the difference, look at the stalk on the hydro, cuttings were all taken off same 2 plants and the hydro were put in 2 days before the soil,
now i know i can radically reduce plant numbers and run 4-8 plants in hydro and get maximum effect with fast veg times also,

now i am just a learner here, but for i read all the time yeilds are the same in what ever medium you use? well i dont think this will be the case at all, the girls are like mini bushes with only 2 weeks veg where as the girls in soil are like little mini plants,,,

anyway another week has passed heres for you mr lime,
cheers:tiphat:

Nice to have you all along for the ride indeed..

Here we are at 4 weeks in now, the girls in soil look better in the pictures then they do in real life, some of them are crisping up leaves, i have been over to the infirmary and think they got potasium and phospherours - probs due to cold root zones and sitting in wet soil, it was damp for days, so i went out and got a electric blanket and stuck that underneith, will see if it makes any differnce in next few days,

as for the home made bubbiler its got 2 wild beasts in it, they looking great and chunky ,

soil ones are skinny i sure there is a defect of some sort
