Hello Brethren. This seed's origins are something of an unknown entity.

What I do know is it came out of a bag of something bought in Amsterdam circa '03. Some of the group think it came from a bag of NYCD bought at Amnesia, others don't!

Anyhow, it surfaced again when I was rooting in my mate's seed stash, so I convinced him to throw it in a corner and see what happens.

So the question is, any of you weedtrain spotters care to have a guess at what it is?

I've included a cpl of pics, I'll try and post more when he sexes it.

Leaves seem to have the occasional double serration. Mate says it's a very light feeder, gets upset at 1.2ec, and sloooow in veg.

Hopefully sorted now...

I'm fairly sure it's cannabis at the least lol

The 2nd Q is wether it's a s1, f1 or femmes

Lex, I think you're probably right with the first assumption.

Saying that, could be a cheeky Japanese Acer?? ;)

Well, it's a she! :woohoo:

Mate still has her in veg. She's now able to take 1.4ec, without fainting and looking all teary.

in all fairness that plant could be absolutely anything. you might have better luck from studying the finished bud.

Yeah K, still early days.

I know there's some keen eyed gardeners on here, so thought I'd throw it up for fun just to see if anyone could call it.

Incidentally, Lex is winning so far with his suggestion it might be cannabis. ;)

So here she is today, after she had herself a bit of a trim and tidy.

Quietly doing her thing in the corner.

Hey Mac, thanks for dropping by. Certainly turning out quite an interesting little side show.

She's been such a slow growing, moody little thing. Mate had to pull her out of the dripper set up and hand water as she couldn't handle the feed the others were requiring. He loves me for that, lool.

Here's a closer shot of those crazy leaves. Sharks teeth, as Mac said, and the odd double serration showing!

Another little update.

She reeks. Stinking everything else out completely. It's an odd smell too. There is definitely a fruity smell. Sort of pineapple/grapefruit/tropical smell, with a strong hot rubber smell underneath? Not like burning tyres, more, new car tyre left in sun??!! Early days still...

She's almost done now. Maybe a week left.

Still has the crazy smell. Will be interesting to see what she's like after cut and cure.
