Reducing light wattage in last week of flower

Many seem to turn the light out for at least a day some more at the end of flower.

I have a lumetek digital ballast that has 4 different power settings.

What if I dropped it from "Super Lumens" 600 watts plus - to 600 - then 400 - then 360 over the entire last week of flowering?

Any benefit in reducing the intensity of light to "Fool" the plant into thinking its the end over a longer period of time versus just the last day?

What are you trying to do by reducing the light?

More resin production?

Yes on the resin - Maybe help it give a last push at the end -

They are VERY close to finishing and I am not going to be around for 6 days and the idea came to me - I don't want anyone else chopping or turning the light off- but if I simply had them turned the switch and do it again mid week and again at then end - maybe there is a benefit?

They usually only go 60 days - but I switched to General Hydroponics
and the K.I.S.S. method this go around from a normal FoxFarm regiment and it looks like they want another week
