Great news!

But I'm with you, .. As I was reading, even, I'm thinking "Dude, you're a blip on someone's radar, just get with a lesser filter and make do.." .. :)

Glad to see you're going to tone it down in re: the filtration .. I think you'll be A-OK. But then, like I said, whaddo I know? I'm just a dumb dirt guy. :D

Now, on with it!

(PS - When I think about hauling in water, I'm imagining a truck with 40 5-gal buckets, FULL .. Whassa problem?) ;)

Bobble.. freds.. silver... mr D.. i cant quote you all because too many smilies per one post

sleeping well at night is my greatest concern... if my safety was threatened, the plants would already be pulled

it is hard to make you feel in my shoes but as long as i play it smart, i think i am gonna be ok... water accidents leaky toilets etc happen all the time the guy said, enough for them to do daily checks ... and as long as i get a sediment filter and my consumption goes down..no one will say anything..i just have to get on it....give it maybe a week or 2 max before they might say something again ....

you have to trust me...around here people arent even thinking, let alone looking or knowing the signs of whats going on but it doesnt mean that i am not extra careful ...when the guy saw my water was high, there was probably at least 10 scenarios that went through his mind and growing probably wasnt even one of them...this is why odor control is a my top priority...its the dead giveaway that you dont have to be trained to recognize...if that is under control the meter readers whistle and go about there day...but if i had a high water bill and distinctive smell, i probably wouldnt be here to type this message

as far as the light movers go... it is gonna have to take back seat either way for now...gotta stay focused on whats at hand for the moment...dial that bitch in..maybe try a few higher yeilding strains in there etc...i am clearly moving too fast as it is, dont wanna get to far ahead of myself

this spot isnt hot yet.. i just gotta be more careful.. but i still plan on trying to move and have a fresh slate and taking this as a learning experience

just gotta get a filter asap...D you said it is only $30.. does it have garden hose adapters ??

thanks you everyone for your concern...really helped in the stressful situation knowing yall got my back

They're not slip, they're 3/4" FPT. You can buy a FPT to MPT adapter and attach your hose. I have one of those before my RO... I have it reduced to 1/4" tubing.

The ones on mine are slip, but they probably come both ways depending on the brand. Didn't look that close at the one I linked to, but either way hose fittings can be had.....

Ok so I lied it's 40 bucks now......
http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc...d=-1&keyword=whole+house+filter&storeId=10051.

You could probably shop around and find the same thing a bit cheaper, but this will give you an idea of what i'm talking about. No hose fittings, they are slip pvc. I'm sure you can get a slip to garden hose adaptor if needed though.

thanks guys... i got the sediment filter ($40) from lowes..... the one i got is whirlpool...had 3/4'' threaded fittings but i got a garden hose adapter and used the hose i tried to run to the WW dtw with, faucet to filter, for the intake

then i recycled my old RO intake fitting (garden hose reduced to 1/4'') for the filter output so i could run it to the existing 1/4'' floats i already have

not a moment too soon either... i have been using just the 200gpd since they shut my water off and today the WW rez was only half full and the main rez had 70gal...

this new filter probably fill up the 150gal rez in like an hour with no waste....FUCK RO

now i gotta worry about getting a call like "your water bill went down significantly, is everything ok?"

Glad you got it sorted. Smoke a fat one and let the added stress from the last few days wash itself away.

G

GMax

thanks anti...i have definately done that a few times already :smoke:

this has been a real stressful situation but it is finally over... i no longer have to worry about the plants running out of water...or using too much...however this is my first grow in hydro that i have not used RO..if i continue to have great results without using RO, i will never go back as long as my starting water is good...i just have to monitor the pH and make sure it still stays in check with the new water...be fair, when i bought my first RO i had shitty well water.... and if i do ever have another place with well water, i will have RO ready to go and a sediment filter to use before it for added benefit....

since my water issues are solved it is back to business.... i have been preoccupied with everything else but now that i can run 2 WWs worry free, i am gonna get the next one filled up asap ... i have it about 90% built now, but there are still a few things left to do to it.... the plants that i have on deck arent looking the greatest...they werent as good of a batch of clones as the first round to begin with..but now they are over vegged and lanky and starting to get hungry... but i am gonna prune and shape them and nurse them back to health in the WW

and i also gonna take the biggest batch of clones i can, so i can get caught back up...try to fill the first WW again ASAP..

Thanks Bro , didn`t think I double clicked on my laptop when I posted.....but anything`s possible........

Gmax has his groove back so it`s all good.....

G

GMax

thanks freds...definately got my groove back ...

everyone knows whats been going on here lately, so i am not gonna go into that.. its fixed now and no longet an issue, so lets get back to the WW...

other than external problems, the actual system has been running smoother than ever!!! i literally havent had to do anything to the plants since the last rez change.... and then i didnt even have to flush them, they just ate and started flushing themselves lol...

today is the last day that you wil see them with leaves... they are in full flush mode and i am gonna strip them and then just let them finish out...

i just let the plants do the talking

cant get the whole room like i used to because the new partially finished WW..once it is built, i can roll it out of the way for any angle...i think the wyes in the foreground give it a cool effect...this whole wall shots have been my fav

too many pics to choose from so continued....

thanks Green...try to keep my problems minimal, but gotta fix them as they come

my next big problem is gonna be whether the landlord is gonna want another walkthrough when the lease is up...the whole next month I am gonna be getting prepared for whatever...looking for new houses just in case, etc.. . but I am gonna stay on schedule and keep running the grow like normal just in case...then if nothing happens, I wont miss a beat...worst case scenario, I will have to pull and toss some plants that I wouldn't have been able to harvest anyways

gonna be putting the finishing touches on the next WW today and then I will be transplanting the next crop in

glad you are enjoying

I guarantee next run regardless of location if yas strip out all them fans with a stem attached once stretch is completely over , that you`ll see an increase in swellage by end of cycle.......and....

Instead of runnin straight water through em last couple weeks , top off the rez with R/O/tapwater and "dwindle" ppm`s/ec down gradually , and you`ll see more swellage and weight gain toward chop for increased bottom line yields.......bet on it......

Never flushed a crop in my life cuz lowerin ppm`s gradually toward end of cycle allows the plant to cannibalize itself of excess nitrogen and end up in the 150-200 ppm range by Harvey , and proper dry and cure takes care of the rest for a smooth white ash burn for the best of all worlds......but opinions vary in medville.......I never believed in opinions though...............

Heath and I never understood starving a plant of vital macro`s and micro`s during the last growth surge in the plants life till chop , and I assure all here it works ........so......

When yas can see the 1-3 leafers juttin out the colas/nugs themselves turnin yellow after all else bullshit foliage has been removed weeks before.........then......

That`s when yas`re gettin every gram yas can squeeze outta yer bitches consistently run after run.........anyways......

Hope yas get things sorted out with the landlord and or movin to a new location Bro..........

Peace...Freds.......:ying:........

I did another stripping of the leaves after those pics were taken^^ when I get new pics up you will see the difference.. I don't think I pulled enough leaves though.. I always leave the backside leaves and just take anything that is even a slight problem in the front.. when I post some pics, let me get your opinion...

as far as the flushing goes..i am actually doing exactly what you are saying... its hard to believe, but less than a week before those pics were taken, those plants had a full strength rez change.. I have been just letting the float top it off so the ppm dwindle..problem is these plants are greedy bastards and they ate all the nutes too fast and now the ppm are extremely low like a "true flush".. last time I gave it nutes, was the last time I did anything to the rez

I don't know what to do now.. the full strength nutes I gave them less than a week ago are probably so low in ppm that it is back to bottled water quality once again, and the results are the aggressive flushing you see..

Bro...give em a small shot of juice to keep em hoonin but.....gotta take everything that steals vital plant energy into convertin sugars durin lights on to provide for swellage durin lights off.......and then....

Everything falls into place with more runs under yer belt..and.....it`ll come outta nowhere and be just what they need when they need it cuz yas`ll have been there and done that and know what ta do to adjust accordingly......

Gotta step up and say that tween you and FHC`s setup , the sideways canopy is at a picture perfect example of what ALL should take note of and strive for if attempting an increased plant numbers setup with stacked bulbs.......just needs the fine tunin and tweakin with said strains and varieties bein run....and it.....

Only gets better from here Bro......Respect......and.....

I have been working on the second WW today and when I was making nutes for the new batch... I turned on the water to fill it up and walked away... I only meant to fill it up with 50gal, but I forgot about it and filled it up closer to 60-70 gals...

as stupid as it sounds, I was missing one barbed tee piece so I could attach the new WW rez to the drain line, so I couldn't drain it.... so I said fuck it and just made nutes like normal

first week veg recipe
15ml calmag (don't usually do this, but plants weren't looking so great)
250 ml Micro
500ml Bloom
30ml Roots Excelurator
50ml silica
150ml sm90
1.5 scoops beneficials

this is supposed to be for 50gals but like I said, I overfilled it, so it more watered down...hopefully less is more

since I cant drain it right yet ...what say u if I take a 5gal bucket and scoop out the excess from the new rez (nutes) and add it back to the old WW rez, to be the little shot of juice you talking about...its got RA and beneficials in it, and it lucas instead of REZ, but fuck it...or just leave it with plain water and let it finish out since it only a week left...

also I am out of micro til tom, so I cant make its own nutes, but I can wait...but I feel like even if I gave them nutes, it would be gone tom...almost more work to keep the ppm up

I agree with you on the letting ppms dwindle..in my old room that is what I do... I give them a nute change on day 28-32 and then I just let the float top it off until harvest on day 50...sometimes the plants are yellow, sometimes they are pale green... but I never notice a difference in the smoke.. still burns clean

however, I make bubble hash with all my leaves after harvest and I have noticed a difference in the quality of the hash of well flushed to dwindled ppm plants..so it has a little effect on my decision making

thanks for the kind words freds and means a lot to get props from you... I would like to note that monocropping is a big key in having that smooth crisp canopy

anyways I have the 2nd WW built, transplanted, and running... the plants weren't looking so great because they have been sitting in veg too long while I was trying to figure out last weeks water situation and whether I was even going to flower them at all...they aren't looking good now, but I am gonna bring them back to healthy status and they will turn around quick in aero..once they are, I think canopy management may be more of a problem than the first round... just gonna make the best of it.... I snap some shots asap

takin the next batch of WW clones tom
