test joint of second plant i had to chop early.purple pheno 2...much better smoke than the first pheno, yielded only 80 grams.i have one purple pheno still out in wild, with zero mold that i will leave till november ,i reckon she will handle it and hopefully fully mature up.bless up all the wild growers up north, tough time i know!paz
That's it. It wasn't done on purpose, though. The seeds I collected from the 2011 buds had to be "My 2011 weed" x wild hemp (wild cannabis) - yes, the same that is useless to smoke
How do I know that!? Well, I removed all the males, so there's now way any other cannabis pollinated my outdoor MJ.
...and guess what I'd say the buds from these plants (these plants = the offspring of my 2011 outdoor MJ and wild hemp) look at least like yours above.
I'll let you know how it kicks the brain
Gonna make some water hash right now (from 2011 trimmings), can post some pictures if anyone's interested. I'm a hash fan. Could smoke it endlessly!
simon, they look better than my buds than the ones i had to harvest early, and one joint tester by far,and the remaining ones included lol!!!just like the hemp field buds down the road,,,have you tested them?not having a go ,just asking.over the years ive read of growers struggling to get sensimilla from there outdoor crops, due to all the hemp pollen in the air.the resulting seeds from what i remember, were pretty much worthless.im looking forward to your results and hope they are physcoactive enough.they look excellent, well done.we can do a country swap next year haha, peace
i spoke too soon regarding the weather.in this barrio it is back to high humidity ,cold, and rainy weather.i will check on the remaining ladies, on saturday, and do the usual of damage limitation mold removal.hopefully not as bad as i'm expecting , for a fully mature plant they still need 3 weeks i'd say!roll on next year, can never be as bad as this one.it can be soul destroying ,lol, thank god for all the early phenotypes i had a watch over in my garden that did finish.they were not strong but a decent smoke.i might just put the remaining 5 full plants through the hash bags,or even do half ice hash and half dry sift.jah bless the shitty uk,the tings we have to do for a free smoke, lol.peace
only 3 plants i have left out that have no mould are my nfw. the darkest has red seeds never seen that before lol. will they germ next year
anyway here she is.
possible snow, forecast for tonight and shitloads of mold on the remaining plants!75% ok though.if i had left them another week they would be all moldy,so my patiece has cme to an end, lol.spent all day salvaging.should keep me going for a while,so i'm happy enough.good test grow, next year i will expand the spot a week bit and use clones frm outdoor seeds i will start early, say febuary time ,as early as that.that alone should cut a slice off the flowering cycle.i have feminised skunk 1,regular mendocino madness, biddy early and some freebie early pearl seeds, and some dutch passion durban posion so far.my theory is just chuck everything at it and see what des best!lol.
over and out,jah bless.see you again in spring.peace and love
Brock , the nfw looks like a lovely plant . Smoke report please . Red seeds are a new one to me , dry them out when mature then soak a couple for 48hr & see if they split / show tails , if they do your on a winner .
spiritual , some lovely plants , hope your doing bubble from the mouldy bud .
mjb,i had to do my trimming on site ,and i chucked all the mold and fan leaves and saved only the inner leaves to make hash or cakes.i had to ram fill these two bags with bud and vacate the area,so had no time or room to mess about,or extra hands.i looked dodgy enough as it was ,lol.peace
hey spiritual,
thats how i usually do it as well: get the big fan leafes off and leave them on the ground at the spot. i cut the moldy bits off and throw them away, too. dont want to take more stuff home with me that i will throw away anyways. and also the bags are running out of space (like in your last pic, hehe).
the spot looks nice.
get a very big backpack. looks a bit less dodgy...
hi eugen.hows it going?yeah i did just that but tried to dig in the leaves and replenish the soil a little bit.i will expand it maybe in two weeks ,if i get time and get some manure down ready for next year.the earlier the better, took me two years to find a spot this good so i may aswell try again next year with clones and seeds more suited.this was just a tester and a bit of fun ,and teaching a good friend how to survive and have weed for free.so all good.the last purple plant was most mold resistant, maybe only 2% mold approximately, the rest were all 25 % mold, lol.also i did not expect the plant to get so big and crowded so that aids the mold too, even after defoliation.clones would never be as big as seeds in my opinion,so next year seeds will go only 3 plants per cage, and clones can be of similar numbers.4 cages i think should be enough to last me the year while i take time out from indoor growing.
Hey all, haven't been on here in ages! Been frequenting the popular 'UK' grow site more.
Good to see some familiar faces still about and some successful grows.
I didn't put any plants out at all this year. Only kept 2 AKxWW in the back garden. Heres how they did...
Much different to last year...
Did any one else grow AKxWW this year and find they didn't perform well? This year they had much less girth, density and crystals. I know we had a shit season but I thought they would have performed better. Both set pictures were taken pretty much on the same day, a year apart.
Anyone still got a cut by the way? I lost my mother due to a situation out of my control.
