BAD~ASS.... F0certain....LUV these dam tools....SIMPLY the best I've ever bought my self.....SO...SO... nice to have sum reliable tool
my last one would nt even keep the charge for a day....
tossed that shitt..... and made permanent room for my new babies....
wife hates it..... all i wanna do is projects........

At least the U.S. can get their shit together with these sales. Here in Oz we tried to do it this week, and it pretty much sucked big time. It was called 'Click Frenzy' here, but within a couple of hrs, Twitter had a hashtag "Clickfail" cos the websites just shit themselves.

Maybe next time, they should have a decent look at how the U.S. does it. We have the silly after Xmas sales (Boxing Day) but we are still relative noobs at the online shopping caper. Some of our bigger retailers (yes you Harvey Norman, amongst others) were VERY resistant to online shopping, mainly cos they were too big and slow to jump on the bandwagon early, as well as putting up weak arguments about not being able to price match etc. There is some merit to the claim they made that they weren't getting supported by the suppliers in regards to pricing, but that could be due in part to economies of scale, and shipping. Another part of it could be that the retailers were scared to lose a little of their margins, as well as the stupidly high retail rents some places have to pay.

Man, not to crush your vibe, because new tools always rock - but I just can't stand the mass consumerism of "Black Friday" - to me it emphasizes everything that is screwed up in the minds of the common sheep.

I just can't understand it - I mean - I'd rather do with out or pay more, than fight through the crazy-eyed deal manics....

Although, I did lust over a few things at newegg.com - man I'd love to be able to drop $2k on a new blazing fast custom PC!

Got a 4 pack combo kit of porter cable good brand- no where near as expensive as hitachi - Came close to the dewalt but these are used by a couple of co-workers so I went with it has a circular saw, reciprocating saw, flashlight, and 18v drill for 129

SO...who...got...WHAT ?

Uh... why? I have all kinds of projects for Dave to do.

No BF for me/us. We hosted a reunion for a group of high school friends down at my folks' place in SoCal, two of whom I haven't seen for 30 years. IT WAS A BLAST! We did a wine, cheese and honey tasting table, and a table with dips and chips and fruit and stuff, and a friend brought her Puerto Rican rice and beans and oh my GOD were they good! I've never thought to put green olives in the beans, and she uses a lot less Sazon than I do. We also had Dave's Chocolate Decadence Cheesecake (this shit is like Sweet Genius-worthy, I'm not even kidding about that) along with my very own Organic Completely From Scratch Pumpkin Pie Made With Pumpkins I Grew Myself, with whipped cream. We got drunk and a whole bunch of my old friends, who don't smoke all that often, sat around and shared a few joints with me. And we all drank much wine.

Talk about bringing back old times. And we got to tell tales of our lives, many have lived adventures, stuff like sailing around the world or serving in war and just doing all kinds of things.
