Mass/RI/Con Growers here!

Mass law looks good so far. Looks like caregivers max out @ 48 plants and "severe pain" is a qualifying condition for patients. Start getting your medical records in order folks...

@ TYGA: Nice looking ECSD! nice flower thats has some shine to her. when did you chop that bad lady(s)? mines day 35 flower so im hoping she explodes with bud growth. I have noticed she buds up from the bottom to the top which is weird but shes still flowering nicely.

If anyone has any input on the way my ecsd is budding and if its the norm for her to flower how she is.

Nice find ... Hopefully the MMJ will carry over between ct/ri/ma so patients and cg's can carry the legal limit in those 3 states since there is a lot of folks that travel between the 3 states regularly.

NE ... That ECSD looks to be re-vegging? Or am I mistaken cause thats how my re-veggers looked .. bigger buds at the bottom .. trich's covering single bladed fans up top

The reason that girl looks like that is because he took the cuts while in flower. Thats a HUGE mistake. But I know that NE_G has learned his leason and will take his cuts while in veg just before he puts his plants into flower next time.
Then his plants will grow normally. Right now they are freaks because of this.
Sorry NE_G but the buds will be very tiny and freakish looking. Nothing like what Tyga's holding. They are spending all their energy reverting back to flower rather than growing nice buds on nice strong branches.
You will have alot of suger leaf and fan leaf trichomes to dry sift though, thats a bonus. Not a total loss.

Re-veg for sure man... Check the timer on your veg chamber. You really shouldnt see any pre-flowers during veg unless you are vegging for a long period of time... Ive noticed in a few shots from your thread veg plants shooting pre flowers early on in veg.

Maybe your right Tyga. His timer could be off a 12/12 cycle by mistake... but I dont think NE_G would make that kind of mistake this far along in the game.

I think he took a cut from a plant that was flowering for about 10-15 days and then vegged it, and while still in transition from flower to veg, he didnt give it enough time to fully revert back to veg and flipped it back to flower and this is the result.

If you take a cutting off a mom, while the mom is flowering, revegg that clone for 6 -8 weeks, and use it to take your next cuts. Dont use that plant to re-flower.
You will get nice, full leaved, vigorous plants with no freakish growth at all.
But Im sure you know all this by now My good friend NE_G.

The only reason Im writing this is: so inexperienced growers can use this for a guideline as a perfect example/picture of "Taking Cuts from a flowering plant and what happens without fully revegging them out before flipping them again".
Not to correct my green brother NE_G. Keep it pimpin'.

^ Ive been there and done that! Lol.... I was using T5's to sex a few plants before I set them under the HPS and hooked up to the blumats so I wouldn't have to modify the blumat lines after I pulled the males. Some how the wrong t5 light got hooked to the wrong timer and WALAH! Couple moms got flowered by accident... Dumb yes... But mistakes do happen!

That's def from revegging. Either she was getting some light while she was supposed to be sleeping. Or she was too far into flower when the cutting was taken. If she was taken from flowering plant it was well after the 10 days into the cycle. The buds will be very stringy at the end of the cycle. I know it sucks but unless you have extra space in your flowering room I would consider replacing her with another plant. My 2 cents

Peace

NE_GROWER_978,

In my experience, the one leaf patterns on ECSD plants usually comes from cuts taken lower on the plant. Sometimes they go through that little mutant phase, but after 5-7 nodes of side branches they should have resorted to the fully normal structure - with full 5+ sets of leaves.

Once you get the right structure back, you can take cuts from that point upward and the future clones should avoid that potential mutation phase. ECSD is lucky that when this happens, it corrects itself, unlike some of DJ Short mutations whose mutations can stay throughout the whole grow. I think the most important tip ime with dealing with mutant ECSD, would be let the mutant veg out till they recorrect before flowering and it will turn out a lot better, and the future cuts taken from above that point will avoid this in the future.

I think that yours is going to turn into a near giant cola, since you have the inter-nodes so close. Should come out ultra dank. =)
