Growing in bedroom - A smell stuck in my nose

About 5 days ago while vegging I had a terrible dream, and in that dream there was this foul smell, not like any smell I'd ever smelled. I woke up and was in awe of the power of a dream as I could no longer smell the smell. Today, now in pre-flower, I had that smelly dream again and woke up with the smell still in my nose. I've smelled many things including rotting flesh, ammonia, etc., but this smell bothered my so damn much. It was stuck in my nose and I could smell it every few moments. It kinda smells like the plant, but has a very strong chemically smell that made me sick to my stomach to say the least. The grow room doesn't even smell like this.

I had my bedroom window closed (cold) and the grow room door open while I was sleeping at night. I'm thinking that my plants were perspiring and I had inhaled so much that it concentrated inside my nose.

This smell really affected me. This is my first grow. Can anyone please explain to me what happened?

I know this isn't hydro related, but there are only two indoor related forums (hydro and soil), and since my grow is hydro, I posted here.

I think I'm going to accept that I got plant B.O.'ed. Some really powerful stuff if concentrated..

hi vspin, i found when i send post and it just sits there for ever and wont move, turn off up at top, dont sign off just at x. it goes through, hope this helps.

I had submitted the post and went away for a few minutes, and when I came back I saw the post was still there. I thought I had forgot to click submit, which is why I submitted again. Then when I seen duplicate posts, I knew what I had done.

I would also check my roots for rot. Hydro can get a bit stinky if the water is too warm and you don't use a sterilant like h2o2

Hello highonmt. Thank you for your help.

The roots are white (once I rinse the FloraNova off) and the water temp is cool. It has something to do when me breathing the air all night long while sleeping in the same room with the windows closed. I asked my friend if he could smell the same thing and he said he could not smell anything. In fact, troubled by the smell, I jumped in the shower and could not get the smell to go away. I literally scrubbed the inside off my nose (blowing my nose too) until finally (after a good while in the shower) it subsided.

Since I've been leaving my window open at least a little bit, I've not had the issue again.
