i got some s1 seeds from marijuana-seeds.nl, they were pricey but seem to be legit...i actually killed off 18/20 due to chlorine but out of the two survivors one is a hell of a keeper. if its not actually blue dream id like to know what it is because i absolutely love this plant and will be crossing it with everything.
btw ive heard (from bodhi seeds among other sources) that there are multiple cuts of BD....said to be a sativa cut from santa cruz and a san francisco cut which is more indica looking. anyone know anything more about this?

You know, funny thing about the potency of Blue Dream. I have batches test out consistently around 22-24% and OG 25-28% From SC labs. May not be the most potent but its up there and I agree its a smooth functional smoke. Very heady.
For 5 years I grew OG only and still do to this day but, in 07' a buddy of mine introduced me to Blue Dream. It impressed me enough to grab a cut and start growing it for head stash.

i'm down for testing em...have bd in the stable already, so finding a similar pheno should be pretty easy.
I've been working with Blue Dream for a while. I recently harvested Blue Dream BX seeds and will be testing them soon and making the second bx at the the same time.
I hope to have them at the bay before spring.

I crossed BD to OG x Chemdog. Then back crossed two very Blue Dream dominant males back the the Blue Dream clone. Testing from the F1 hybrid proved to be very BD dominant in both the males and females. We'll be starting seeds of the bx for male selection shortly. We'll also make a bx2 and bx f2.
just cause It flowers fast and yields well, which makes it attractive to cash croppers... does not mean it doesn't have other good qualities that can, and for all intents and purposes should be stabilized into a line for people to cultivate and breed with.
Is it the best of the best... hell no but it is good herb, that is enjoyable

its far from the most potent, its very functional and well balanced, but every sample I've seen smells and tastes good even the lower quality ones.
Blue Dream is not one of my favorite smokes but I know many people who consider it their go to daily strain of choice.
It has a strong smell and flavor,heavy coating of tricomes,large yield,reasonable flower time,it's fairly mold and pm resistant,and easy to grow.
People who don't like it may have not seen the real thing grown properly. Many commercial growers harvest early,and don't flush,in fact many feed up until harvest.
I prefer smoking sour diesels and OG's but that doesn't mean Blue Dream is not great herb.

there is nothing magical about selected clones , most the time there found in small seed selections ! you will find better in a few packs of Azure Haze hell even make your own blue dream , make it better !!

I've gotta say I'm not a big fan of Blue Dream - for two main reasons:
1. in order to really get that blue flavor to pop - she has to cure for 6+wks
2. The high has a very low ceiling - one hit and it is instant, sure, but that is as far as it will take you no matter how much more you smoke following...
Not personally a fan, but I know many folks who run her and love her simply for the numbers that she puts up....and for people that don't have access to 10 strains on a regular rotation (growers) and don't sample true AAA, then Blue Dream is the every day type of customers go to...folks seem to love it.
One the same take, I've got a few BubbaDutch SSH x Digi Bx1 seeds - that I fully expect to walk all over Blue Dream in flavor and quality of high without compromising yield...
If you look there are all kinds of SSH x Blue or Blue x SSH combos out there by now...sort enough seeds and you'll be sure to find something that parallels the Blue Dream clone. It's not exactly top shelf...but makes a great commercial plant.

I want blue dream personally because I haven't seen a strain produce like bluedream outside with its qualities, flavor and potency
