indeed there is little difference in policy(R vs. D),its all centered around defficet spending and the chattle are responsible for it. thats why it almost make no difference in who you elect from the two party fraud.they are both bought and owned by the banks so they continue the previous administrations work of expanding the national debt to the banks.

UPDATE: i beleive all 50 states now have a petition!

I find it funny that you decided to pick the 10 poorest/stupidest/most retarded states in the Union (in your eyes) and make a post "finding it funny" that they receive subsidies. We have already covered this subject son. The consensus is, we don't need your fucking money. So take it and wipe your ass with it.

Succession lmao...why would anyone think their state would be capable of doing so. The vast majority of each state would disagree with such a radical idea. It's time to get over the bitter beer face...the economy is too big to fail; the world economy is dependent upon how well the u.s. economy functions. Growth has been consistent for almost 3 years. Shit is gonna boom in about 2 more years...relax!

It's going to boom alright. Big badda boom.

I love the "too big to fail" delusion. It's evidence of the grandiose sense of hubris found in people who believe in the status quo.

Nothing fails. It only goes up forever. Hilarious logic.

Spas you're talking to a recent business admin grad. I just took a microeconomics course last spring semester, where we studied the economy extremely close (under a republican professor). Fuck the partisan bs....look at the numbers for yourself. I'll provide links to the true data if you need it. Simply put, if the u.s. economy fails the world economy fails. Its exactly like the phrase; kill the head and the body will follow. I'm an independent btw

no offense, really just giving you a hard time, but we already understand this.

what makes you think the central planners are capable of preventing the explosion this time considering past precedent?

Hypothetical musing here. Say state "X" secedes. Pick one, it doesn't matter for the sake of discussion. So this state secedes. There are interstate highways (Federally maintained) leading in/out of said state. Water sources, such as rivers flow to/from other states. The National electric grid crosses state lines. Power comes from or goes to other states. You get the picture.

So what happens to these resources? Does the seceding state put up a wall around the state? Cut power lines? Put up road blocks on the interstate? Blockade the river?

These are shared resources. If the seceding state gets its primary source of water from another state, but doesn't want to belong to the US anymore, the other state is under no obligation to keep supplying water. Same goes for goods going into or out of the seceding state.

This secession shit won't work. No state is truly independent. Any state that tried this would end up looking like Cuba in short order.

This isn't how adults deal with problems. Adults work out their problems. Petulant children take their ball and go home.

Are we adults here, or petulant children?

And so by your logic, the U.S. economy won't fail? Just because it COULDN'T fall, or the world would be fucked? LOL

Kinda like when you're growing weed and your grow room is full of spider mites and mold. "But it CAN'T be....I need these to pay the bills next month! If these plants are fucked, then I'M fucked! So obviously they're not fucked!" LOL

Why would anyone do any of those absurd things?

And your point is? That states would then have to renegotiate agreements and share their resources in a way that is more beneficial to each individual state, vs the situation they're in now where they're FORCED to do things a certain way, even if that's not the best way? How would that be bad again?

What's your point?

This secession shit won't work. No state is truly independent. Any state that tried this would end up looking like Cuba in short order.

This is nothing more a complete lack of imagination and vision on your part.

This isn't how adults deal with problems. Adults work out their problems. Petulant children take their ball and go home.

Do you not see how divisive you're being right now with this INSULTING manner? Do you not see how you're smirking and snickering and laughing and dismissing people's valid concerns and anger, and so doing nothing but increasing said anger, and not making things better?

Look in the mirror--you're part of the problem.

Are we adults here, or petulant children?

Well, you're being a petulant child right at this very moment, if you define a "petulant child" as someone who uses insults in the place of factual arguments.

Calling the US government a childish entity is a bit over simplified for me. Get real.

Im sorry but framing the argument in terms of children and adults is just weird. THe government is too broke to bother most people. THey are too busy giving away money, but seriously Im bored when people make outlandish comments about a government controlled by both parties. Lame duck right?

Wow. Lots of econ majors throwing their credentials around in here. I'm nervous.

Nothing I've said here is partisan. I dislike both parties equally. They both progressive (despite the double speak they cloak their language in) and religiously subscribe to Keynesian economics. My views are not represented by any corrupt political faction in this country. And more and more it looks like I'm not the only one.

I've looked at the numbers. They are shit and I won't go into another long winded explanation on why. Go back and read my huge post in this thread and then come talk to me.

And yes if the US goes down so does everyone else. This is a globalized economy. 2008 disapproved the "decoupling" delusion. It works the other way to. If Europe goes down we all go down. If China slows down we all slow down. And because everyone is so leveraged still when we go down a little bit everything blows up.

Just who exactly am I insulting here? I posed some hypotheticals
and gave my fucking opinion, just like you are doing.

I was attempting to put some perspective on this.

Seems to me you are the petulant one, as I wasn't speaking directly to you, I was speaking in GENERAL terms.

If you want to secede, get the fuck out, I don't care. Bye.

And FUCK YOU by the way. Apparently none of us know shit and YOU have all the answers.

102,000 signatures is hardly viral in the internet age.

Viral is Tommy Jordan shootin' up his
daughters laptop with 35 million views.

okay, that being said I think the citizens wanting to secede should leave the country asap. I haven't seen a single state legislature/governor request to secede just some cry baby losers, hell, let 'em go.

I'd not want to be one of those signatures. I'm sure that will get you put on a list....

dank.Frank

you could be correct Frank, the govt does not appreciate people willing to renounce their citizenship, it's a question they ask on the yellow sheet you fill out for firearms purchases.
