another question on co2

Ive tried searching but for some reason my android phone wont let me use the search function. so... I want to get co2 and seal my tent, Its a dr120 so its 4x4 i'll be running two 400 watters i just need to know how long a 20lb tank lasts for at 1000ppm and is there any particular brand i should be looking to get or is all co2 the same.

Also i'll be needing a decent regulator and dehuey so which are good ones to get. I dont mind paying for quality but nothing to steep.

I would say around 3-4 week depend how well room is sealed.

I have a 12x17 room. Tanks last about 6-8 days. I'd agree with overbudjet. You'd be looking at a tank lasting 3-4 weeks. Regulators are pretty simple. They're all about $90US and they're all very similar. All co2 is the same. I'd try to get co2 from a refrigeration company rather than a welding supply. I do believe there is such a thing as food grade co2 they use for soda guns. This would be found at a refrigeration Co. I've used gas from a welding supply store and they don't check the tanks or differentiate between the two so I doubt there is a difference.

You're reg will have a gauge on it. This isn't a volume gauge, but a pressure gauge so you can only get a general idea of when you're about to run out. My gauge usually chills on 40 for 5 days, then drops to 30, and when it goes below that i know to get another tank ready. Just pay close attention to your gauge for the first 2 fills. write down the pressure every two or three days that way you can see how yours trends. Also keep in mind a lot of co2 environmental controls have fuzzy logic, so they learn the most economical way to disperse the co2. your first tank might last you 3 weeks, the second might last you 4.

for a dehuey in a tent take a look around walmart/homedepot. i would try to find one with an attachment for a condensate pump. This will let you screw a hoze into the side and you won't be restricted to 5L or whatever your unit is sized for. run the hoze out the side of the tent into a 5gal or such.

just another question so don't have to start a new thread, lets say my tent was in a room and the ambient temp in the room was around 50-59f how hot could i expect inside the tent to be with two 400 hps hung vertically? am i gona need some sort of ac unit?

Get two tanks!!! And yes, 3-4 weeks per in your space, the pressure gauge won't tell you when you you only have 10% because the pressure is always within a certain range and then it just goes to 0 overnight. And it's hard to tell when it's 1/4 full or only 1 day left by given it feel, or at least I always misjudged.
