What is this? (Not TMV, Can't find any broad mites)

Wanna nail down this problem!!!! Healthy plants = healthy harvests
and my yields have suffered as of late

problems are camoflauge mottling, one fingered fans, elongated three finger fans from mid-veg till 2nd/3rd week flower. i search & search the board for a solution...this strain has always had the one finger fans during veg into flower since i started growing it...but the mottling used to rarely pop up but now is everywhere....esp after i switched to 6/9 formula from humboldt nutrients 1part

I have tested for TMV, i have looked closely with my microscope and cannot find any "broad mites" i do spray before flip with avid every cycle even if i havent seen a pest in years...
i ordered a new loupe....i have a radio shack 60-100x, but cannot see any tiny mites...i keep looking, maybe im looking in the wrong place??
in addition to 6/9 per gallon, i use silicon and
i was adding some fairly old cal-mag during veg
added epsom salts last week

please see the attached pictures, which all look like tmv but actually broad mites symptoms

When you find out let me know! I picked up a clone that produce awesome bud but looks identical. I would have said TMV, but you tested. Now I am stumped. Mine will show more if plant get stressed. I have a stereoscope and aint seen no mites. Another common virus is Cucumber and Tomato. Since I got my clone from a bunch dirt smokers, assumed TobaccoMV. Keep em healthy, unstressed and careful w cutting tools and you can live w it. I still get great yields and awesome bud...so I'm gonna keep her.

Tobacco isn't the only mosaic virus out there. Testing for one virus can't and won't tell you if there's another virus active.

The reduced number of lobes on the leaves is a sign of hormonal confusion; i.e. the plant changing back and forth from vegetative growth mode to regenerative (flowering) growth mode. If you use an interrupted light cycle during veg you can reduce this.

I've had one plant do this one me once, and it came from a cutting given to me by the guy who grew out the seed-start mother. No other cuttings have ever shown this, and subsequent cuts from the mom never showed it.

could be a number of things. I`m not a fan of coco, seems to rot too quickly and clog up - preventing air reaching the roots. If the coco dries, it can become filled with organic salts in the fertilizer. If it stays too wet, it will rot.

not certain but it LOOKS like a ph/nute lockup problem. you can try putting an airstone under the coco slab. that will put more oxy into the roots without drying the coco.

thanks for the responses...im still stumped!
i do 18/6 during veg...use 100 % atami....the fans come back to normal in mid-flower, but i noticed the girls arent swelling up (as much) in the finish....and the mottling is less, but persists till the end.

It does look like Broad/Cyclamen mite damage. Broad mites are hard to see, even with a scope, as you first have to find one. It doesn't take many broad mites to screw up your plants badly, so they hide well and are often difficult to find. It's easier to find the eggs, which will be on the underside of the leaves.
In any case, treat your plants with aspirin, and I'm pretty certain you will see a rapid improvement, whether it's some unknown virus, or damage from the broad mite toxins. Add 325 MG regular aspirin per gallon to your nute/water solution. Do this every time you water. Boosting the plants natural immune system with aspirin will help it fight off any attack. Works for me.

update...i think it could be CHLORAMINE issue....i missed changing my filters on my TALL BOY a few months back....when the problems really started to flare up.....

will keep you posted now that the filters are changed to see if that was indeed the issue

looks like Mg deficiency...plain 'ole simple Mg def in a chem based hybrid....

See this all the time in chem lines - add a bit of epsom salts to the next couple of waters and the problem goes away...

Well, the light green parts - the twisting in the leaves and the messed up growth - that looks like pH issues...

That radio Shack scope is going to take a very long time to find some BM's or their Eggs..Get a better scope and look at the underside of the leaf ..usually in the middle of the leafs underside on the stem... it takes a long time to find them if there arent many....

People still denying these Bugz are in Denial...
