Hey IC.

As the title says ...I'm getting ready to run cannacopias Chuck D and need some info mainly on veg time and stretch. Its the original ECSD cut X a deep chunk male.

I ran a single plant before but it ended up being male but I remember it being a ridiculously slow vegger... I think it took 8 weeks from seed to get to 18"... and I've heard DC doesn't stretch at all. But SD and DC are both dominant in crosses I've read so I'm not sure what to expect. I start running out of room at 3' tall plants so what should I veg to? 2'? 18"?

Any input on stretch or veg is appreciated

Hey OZZ, I ran a few of these a couple of years back (lost the female, used the male in a few breedings) and still have a few left I need to get to soon. From what I remember they did veg. slow for me also. I'm guessing your running it inside and I would think a good 6-8 wks veg. at the least if you have the space. GL and if you put up a journal let me know i'd love to follow along. Take care 1

Thanks for the input. What was the stretch like? Little to none or did it go 2x or better?

I ran these a while ago,all but 1 of 6 were pretty slow veggers, the quicker plant was the only 1 with any smells reminiscent of sd but was a male. The 2 fems i had weren't all that but that male was 1 of the best looking plants i've grown, bet there are some great fems in the gene pool.

My 2 stretched about 1.5x.

Maybe doubled in flowered, so 2x the stretch. I ran mine OD also so i'd expect you to get better results in a controlled enviroment. I will definately go check that grow out. Take care 1

Right on... that's pretty much what I needed to know really didn't have any idea what to expect on stretch.

Thanks guys...guess I better take some cuttings now and get to it.

I've grown half a pack of these and fortunately they've all been females. They smell and taste is like lavender or some kind of floral scented something, it's some of the best tasting herb I have grown. It does smell very strong in flower but its not a bad smell real nice smell that is distinctively Chuck D. This time of year is a great time to grow some indoors because if you you let your grow get cold during the dark period the buds turn mostly dark purple with some green and reddish orange hairs. The high is narcotic I would say. Stony. I liked smoking this one mostly for the flavor though that floral taste keeps you coming back. The only down sides is it doesn't yield super great and like everyone else said it's a bitch to veg. I was thinking of growing the remaining seeds I have but I was smoking Chuck D all last winter so I wanted something new this year. Grow some though it's def good stuff
