yah :( failed sizzle test on my nail , not gunna lie
TS,...
more attempts to come , hmmmmm

I just keep purging it if it sizzles...

Little sizzle is not that bad...

But at that consistency, it will be hard to purge more, unless you got viscous again...

Im trying my first run on a heating pad, should be close to 24 hours on there by now, and this was after a hour of vacuum purge...

i use an electric skillet on low in addition to a dimmer to get it well below its lowest setting.... prolly @ the same as a heat pad, never thought of that even tho i have several sitting around.....
also a ceramic heat gun on low is nice....
heat. vac. heat. vac. heat. vac. heat. vac.

I have used a heating pad many times and it sucks imo. I am doing runs that are pulling at least an ounce of finished product and usually can get it done within a few hours of whipping. I use a 100 dolla vacuum from harbor freight and a vacuum chamber and meter from amazon around another bill.
Be careful with over whipping.though when the material is almost fully powdery, it can whip into this marshmallow type texture. I like the marshmallow but most like the powdery.

If you want wax you need to whip it more. Put some elbow grease in it and then purge. You will notice the clear will start to get more opaque. When it is vacuum purging you should be seeing the air you whipped into it raise up into a bubble (not necessarily a clear bubble. If it isnt rising up you dont have enough vacuum in your chamber or you didnt whip it enough. Most likely it will be the latter though. Hope that helps.

You have to heat it up first, then vac. Its gonna budder on you almost every time if you vac first. Too much agitation in a solid form.
